Nice video, peaceful park! Can you watch it in HD (1080?) Best I could get was 720... Maybe it is still uploading to HD. Thanks for sharing. Bob KU3C

Yes, I'm going to see about doing them in 1080P. I actually had my export set to 1080, but for some reason the end result wasn't. Will look into this! Thanks.

Only you could handle a pileup while talking to someone and being a radio advocate at the same time 😂

😂 In truth, I struggle to talk and key at the same time. Ha ha! Still, one of the joys of POTA is giving amateur radio a little more public exposure.

I dont know if you have an aprs enabled device but one thing I just learned was you can use aprs to spot yourself for pota. It depends on what aprs coverage you have too but I know where im at it is generally better than cell. Just an idea in case you werent aware like I wasnt!

I do have an APRS HT, but it's super difficult here to find a local APRS digipeater to hit. I can, usually, from a summit, but rarely otherwise. For many, APRS spotting is a very viable way to make sure spots go through.

@@ThomasK4SWL thats a shame. We have really good coverage here, much better than cell coverage in remote areas. My mind was blown when I found that you could spot yourself on aprs.

Enjoyed the nice scenery as well as your nice CW keying. It is seldom that I hear CW with reasonable speed like this on the band. Most of the ones I hear are too fast, may be sent using a computer. Looks like your radio is only displaying outgoing CW decode? Heard AB2O today morning on 14.022 MHz with good signal. Will look out for you during grey line propagation if you operate at that time. Looks like you have fixed the paddles on your Elecraft. 73 de Jon, VU2JO.

It would be wonderful to make contact with you some day! And, yes, I keep the KXPD2 paddles in great shape these days by simply making sure the contact posts are secure.

My AF Gain on my K3 did the same thing OR you couldn't turn the AF Gain down and you were deafened. I sent it to Elecraft to have it replaced and the K3 gone through. It came back in good as new condition. Also....are you sending 72 instead of 73 on purpose????? Just curious. de KN8N

RR. And, yes, I am sending 72 instead of 73. A little background: qrper.com/2022/07/why-i-send-72-instead-of-73/
