After seeing this level of cleanliness, i have no love left for jaggery anymore. RIP jaggery..
it was happened only when they make on commercial level, otherwise in Punjab villagers make this process neat and clean
It's gross! And I just bought a whole container a week or so ago 😞. Since we know the process now, I think it's easy to make at home. Just buy sugar cane, wash it, juice it and cook it until ready. That would be much cleaner version.
Very hard working proces. THANK you for information and receipe Very sweet 🙏🙏👍👍🌹🌹🌹🌹
To all those people who are concerned about the workers footwear and poor hygiene...
1. The temperature of the boiling sugar solution is between 140-180 degrees and the whole room and the floor gets heated insanely in this process. Can you imagine anyone walking there barefoot?
2. At this high temperature any bacteria, fungus or even fungal spores would not survive
3. High sugar also inhibits growth of bacteria and fungi that's why we use sugar as a natural preservative in some foods
4. The person was walking on the area from where Jaggery was already taken not on the food itself and he had to wear chappal because the temperature of melt jaggery is all around 50-60 degrees.
5. Lastly, this is the traditional process which is now a days almost outdated. Now a days even jaggery is made in a small factory with semi or fully automatic machines.
Umm...wait for it to cool? Or wear some protective shoes instead of the same slippers you wear to the loo? The solutions are are never ending stop defending la k of hygiene you stinker.
@@archangel7052 I really pity half knowledged people like you.
I am certain that you did not read my comment carefully nor you have eaten even a piece of jaggery in your life.
1. Jaggery gets rock solid when it's cooled so they cannot wait it to cool
2. How do you know that they wear same footwear in loo? Did you follow them?
3. This has to be a dedicated footwear for jaggery plant because they cannot wear same sticky one everywhere because their feet will stick to road if they do.
5. I mentioned earlier this is old traditional method which is rarely used now a days. Sadly traditional methods always look dirty to ultra modern people
4. Have yo ever heard anyone dying from Jaggery poisoning? Never. But packaged food which is processed on ultra clean warehouses surely kills thousands every year...
But why am I wasting my time to explain this to you?
@@HappyHomeWorkchannel - Hey genius, it's not rocket science. Maybe try covering those filthy slippers with clean clothes or something, anyway a lot of things in India are of poor hygiene, maybe it's the mindset that needs to change.
@@archangel7052 Just as expected. You have made your mind that India is poor and unhygienic country. Now any explanation won't help you. All I can say is Get well soon.
@@HappyHomeWorkchannel - Man you're in denial. Look out of your window.
its really a hard working job my dad knows the struggle of it ... hatsoff to those workers they are working hard for the family and for there stomach
This is the traditional method, what perhaps was being done some 100's of years back - i, to a certain extent, agree about the hygene factor, however, this is a undisguised (raw) version....remember, these workers are poor..this jaggery comes cheap, and its also organic, under any organic brand, you might pay 10 times more - take your call, if i were given the choice between a traditional and factory made, i would go for the traditional jaggery
@@AryanSharma-gs4rv What does the baking soda react with in sugarcane juice?
If they wash the Sugarcane, pans and Machine before removing juice , it will be more pure and tasty.
@Mark Anthony yes Mark and I want to achieve as much profit outta this Mark while being clean Mark,
@Mark Anthony true customer want to buy cheapest only which is white refined sugar only
Wowwwww
Muito lindo perfeito parabéns desejo sucesso destes trabahlo ok
Yummy 😋
I see they are adding the sugarcane without washing or removing any weeds!!
10:14 For those who are complaining about his sleepers, also look at that wooden pad he kept his foot on.
Would agree that it's still unhygienic in terms of using bare hands, but they are poor people with lack of knowledge from village, so the availability of hand gloves in villages could be rare
Poor people doesn't mean that they don't know what hygiene is . If they didn't knew then they'd be eating their food in the toilet.
It's not about the glove even the chef in the kitchen doesn't usually wear glove but we have at least hygienic procedure
@@rajsaha7885 If we really wanna go by this logic....then, what you said was exactly phrased by your mum when you were born.

Thumbnail is nice. Process is well captured. if along with video is process is described it would have helped viewers to understand in detail.
pasti sukse kang wak gulas ya bagus kali looooo?
Very nice video. Cleanliness is good. I like the video.
Amazing
Nice
Very good job
Many people may see this unhygienic but it's 100 time safer than that which has been process in factory .
They dont wash the Sugar canes neither the machines so I believe it has got lot of minerals with dirty germs unseen . Its a common practice in the Subcontinent.
We lack Hygiene and are far away from cleanliness.
Who said you ? The process is same everywhere , also it's a factory and not your home . Unhygienic condition is more dangerous than chemicals. They also added soda to the jaggery. Soda is also a chemical
I will probably never be able to eat jaggery again after watching this video, will try making it at home.
Sending my full support
Gostei muito 👍🇧🇷
Very good 👍
Jaggery processing and production. Jaggery based cooking. Jaggery is always better than sugar for flavour.
Cooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooool
Very informative and worth spreading. Requires lot of improvement on the hygiene front though

Jaggery is so amazingly good. I love it very much.
Wow it's soo hygienic and clean I will never eat jaggery again unless it's home made

постоянное помешивание не дает сахару кристализироваться, в результате получается сыпучий продукт. если сироп проварить и оставить без помешивания - получится карамель \леденец
Kudos to the people who work hard
Can anyone please tell where is this video been shot?
can you tell me what is the more healthy correct process of making jaggery and what is the wrong method .because jaggery nowadays r getting spoilt in a preparation of food fast in 2 or 3 days itself .it is particularly asked as it will be benefitting for temples or any place of worship offering prasads and for many home makers with this frequent complaint .
lahawla wala kowat so dirty cleaning is half emaan pleas clean it first
Que fregoneria de producto que color
Love traditional jaggery. To all those commenting on hygiene, go buy imported jaggery.
For the record he had a wooden board under his shoes. His shoe soles did not touch where the jaggery was sitting.
In Brazil named is Rapadura.
Só falta ter engiene o resto é top!!!
What was that powder he added? does any one knows it other than soda?
While crushing even sugarcane leaves are not removed making it more Impure. It can be avoided.
Which power used
Wear slipper and scooping the jaggery?
👍👍👍
A first time for me I would love to no what it's used for if food what does it taste like
Sugary asf in a way that you can't consume too much but idek its use but i heard its nutritious and healthy. I look at it as candy imo

Can someone tell me what the white powder is they added a few times? Thanks
Those who are saying about sleeper, check out that on wood he kept that chappal, not in that pan. I agree it's unhyigenic

That is unhygienic , I agree but If someone could clean dirt from his/her mind then he/she might see without dirt , without chappal there are many things to enjoy in the video and learn as well .
Supper methed
As a farmer we have conscious and take utmost care in preparing the jaggery. It is a very hard work. Cutting the sugar cane removing the leaf and bring it crushing spot for juice. Then boil the juice till it comes to expected consistency. Then transfer it to cool down wooden rectangle vessel. Tilt it to cool then crush it with wooden log, fill it in the jute bags. Here all are eco friendly. One should go and see the process involved. Or work in them. ( A retired Librarian also from a University).
thank you . its a hard labor. We all live happy life due to farmers like you . regards
My love and respect to the farmers
❗ (3:00) How could the smoke from the chimney is eco friendly as you have mentioned in the statement?
2nd why the employees are wearing slippers in the floor tray of the last process of jaggery. ?
Mr Farmer...Equip the workers with neat and decent uniforms ,including a good wear with training to maintain hygiene, ur labour's are sitting with dirty skippers on the jute bag and packing the jaggeries with after stamping the jute bag with flighty slippers ,it is atrocious...Maintain hygiene dude or else it is time to boycott ur unhygienic jaggeriies
