They’re good friends but they’re not in a romantic relationship, it’s just friendship nothing more. I know fans desperately want to believe that Boss and Noeul are together but it’s just not true or real.
They’ve been doing fan events for 3 years now, and they always put on the ‘same’ act at every show, pretending to kiss, or to be upset if the other shows too much skin, being very affectionate, it’s all just part of the performance.
Even in this video the way they’re hugging and patting each other on the back was that of ‘friendship’ it wasn’t romantic at all, it’s not the way a couple in a genuine relationship would behave toward each other, that’s the difference.
It’s sad that fans can’t separate actors playing fictional BL characters on a TV series from their real lives. But unfortunately what makes it harder for them to accept is because the actors are required by their management companies to sign contracts where they have to promote a TV series by pretending to be romantically interested in their costars.
Then because Boss and Noeul are popular they’ve continued with fan events long after the show aired, they get paid appearance fees for attending events and also for promoting products on behalf of advertisers.
So yes while they’re very good friends but there’s also money involved as well, which is why they keep going with the pretence as it’s in their own best interests as well.
