The sheer volume of debris that Hurricane Helene produced in the Tampa area would normally have taken *weeks* to clean up. They really made a Herculean effort to haul away as much as possible, hopefully most of it. The hit didn’t quite reach them head on, that God for small mercies.
These reporters are such drama queens. Who in his right mind would stand out in the middle of a hurricane to deliver a report on the progress of the storm? At least they listened to my last observation and sent a man out to report. They used to send the women out while the men sat warm and dry in the newsroom.
