Will the set frequency and duty cycle for both channels individually remain the same even after the power supply is removed? or it gets reset once the power supply is removed.
Great video do you have a video using / controlling the xy-lpwm or xylpwm3 using the TX and RX pins?
Hi! Great explanation. I have a 5-55V PWM speed controller that is used for controlling a DC motor 12VDC, and I want to use a e-bike throttle with it. From the PWM controller, there is a control input for 5V, Ground, and Signal (Red, Black, & Yellow) and on the e-bike throttle there is the same 3 wires for throttle control. When hooked to the PWM Controller with the e-bike throttle currently, the motors turn slightly and there is .9VDC measured between the signal wire and the ground wire of the control wiring. I think this is because the e-bike throttle uses a hall sensor and operates on 1-4V control signal while the PWM was originally using a 100K ohm potentiometer that is looking for 0-5V. I am not worried about the top end of the voltage, just want to stop the motors from turning automatically and need to use the e-bike throttle. Can you help with this?
I just got some of these modules with the same model number on the back, and they're junk because the LCD is basically illegible. They're essentially blank from straight on, and only at extreme angles do you get any usable contrast at all. I have a previous batch that also sucks from straight on, but if you look up at it from about 45 degrees below, the digits are clear. Obviously that's still useless if the display is mounted in something. Generally these seem to suck. There are LED ones, but they have only one display for all functions and it's not clear how they indicate what you're adjusting or what the default display is.
Great video, thanks! Can a signal generator perform the same duties as this PWM device?
I was curious if these 2 pwm signals are in the same phase or they are 180 opposite? I mean one signal is showing 5v the other signal showing 0, than it reverses?
@@robojax how can I make AC(changing polarity signal with pwm for AC inverter, (no sinwave just square)?
Hi. Is the 12V and GND wire directly connect to the fan? And just blue wire (pwm cable) connected to the pwm module?
Thanks for the video. I have a question about the unit. I can not seem to get the output the same voltage as the input. I can only get a oscillation of around 1.5V irrespective of the input voltage. Is my unit faulty or am I doing something wrong. Thanks Joe
hi, if the output is the same as the input, then the power mosfet or power chip is dead.
Thank you for the nice video. Whi 2 pairs of inputs and 2 pais of outputs?
hi; I want to mimic the channel A and Channel B on a CNC MPG , these MPG output a square wave on each click on the wheel , as this device that you are showing has 2 independent channels I wonder if I can use it for my purpose , and if so can you please tell me how I can select the output 2 so I can set it up?
thank you
Mariano
Hi, this does not have two channel. I have explained. they just put extra pins for PWM and for GND. if it had two channels they should have been labeled as PWM1, PWM2 etc.
here is dual channel PWM s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_DecBx8R you can select different product from this page
@@robojax thank you, but as it’s usual with products coming from that part of the World , the specifications are not very clear , and if you look at the pictures, like I did , you can order a item that is not fitting to your purpose..
I understood that you need two different PWM, so follow the link and purchase it.
When the power is disconnected,nd then connected, is the device resetted, or does it restart with the frequencies previously set?
I am sorry for late reply. I was on vacation. I have not tested it but it should keep the settings. the est way to know is to just try it if you have it in hand.
How could I vary the duty cycle based off a automotive style temp sensor/switch BMW etc? So I could send the preset pwm signal to a fan motor controller.. 128hz or around there is what the controller is set for from factory.
This can't be controlled. However you can do it with Arduino separately without this module.
@@robojax Ok I understand.. But in controlling the fan rpm, do I use the ground thats next to the pwm output? thanks!!
if i move arm of servo will duty cycle on display change or is it only changing duty cycle moves servo arm but no vise versa.
It doesn't detect the position of servo or anything. It just sends the signal out. Does not read from outside to display it.
Hola, cual es el voltage de la comunicación de TXD y RXD? Gracias | Hello, what is the communication voltage of TXD and RXD? Thanks
Can we use this to control mosfet?
If you need PWM , then yes. But each imager has its own characteristics and not all of them will turn ON or OFF with the same voltage.
Can I use this for brushless motor?
oh, I missed to test brushless motor. yes you can see it used with another tester ua-cam.com/video/7nuvbHuLU60/v-deo.html
I am the first to like.
Just bought this module last month. Don't have the time to try it.
hi there. can we use this to control the speed of stepper motor?
@@robojax yap but please show the wiring diagram. I've seen someone using this stuff and using tb6560 driver. how about using l289n?
I watch the video making sure I did not miss the wiring. The wiring has been explained and shown in the video. Please watch it and you can draw it if you need it.
You can feed in (connect) the PWM of this to anything you want. Here is an example where PWM module is driving a motor. You can use this module instead ua-cam.com/video/3kGXujM3TIw/v-deo.html
Thank you for the information.
it seems in my city does not exist (PMW) Generator With this display
Hola cual es el ci que controla el duty y la frecuencia? Gracias
What does 74% in the second line means??
I have explained it. 100% means full speed of motor. and 75% is also the speed value. from 0 to 100%
My dear brother, I need a pwm circuit with a variable frequency from 1Mhz to 5Mhz. I hope you will help me to draw a circuit diagram.
Or I want to buy it, but I do not know from any store, please help me for the importance and you my sincere greetings
5Mhz is very high. You need to get Function Generator from eBay or AliExpress www.ebay.ca/sch/i.html?&_nkw=funciton+generator+&_sacat=0
We can use it as a long range locator ..to transmit gold frequency or any metal
Then we need a receiver ckt to have the returned frequency from gold😍
For those of you that have 3d printers I have created a case for this device here: www.thingiverse.com/thing:2863707
Excellent and informative video, thanks! Not sure if you have seen it, but Martyn Davies has also done a great video showing how to control it through software on an Arduino, too....so this can be a very useful module.
You are welcome.
