Hey, in your fortnite test you mentioned being in all low but CPU bottlenecked. I used to game on an i5-3570k and a Nvidia 1660 6gb, and some games I had to turn some graphic settings to medium or high to majorly reduce stutters. Hope this helps
I did this in part of the Fortnite clip I cut (I tested medium and high settings too) and it didn’t improve the stuttering at all, unfortunately. Although it can definitely help. After two games the stuttering abated somewhat. I’m looking forward to tweaking the settings further and making a more comprehensive video just on Fortnite alone!
I find them and other older cards cheap like this on ebay but often find in the description something along the lines of "from decommissioned mining operation may be flashed with custom firmware" lol at least a 5500 level cpu will get 200-300 fps if not more in performance mode in fortnite from what I've seen in that ballpark range of gpus
if this was my pc i'd work towards trying whatever the better cpus available to that motherboard and seeing what performance I get. not sure where this one stands I haven't used intel for a long time

There are a few currently available in Australian retailers around the $400-$435 AUD pricepoint. 10GB of VRAM for only around $400 is great in comparison to what AMD and NVIDIA are offering at the moment. Initial availability is a lot stronger than the Alchemist series back when they launched.

that cpu is the biggest problem. the 8gb of ram is not o problem (assuming its in dual channel)

8gb isnt enough for AAA 1440p 60+ fps gaming if you dont care about AAA gaming then its fine.
for 90$, you usualy dont have the budget for a 1440p monitor anyway...
I don't do a lot of AAA gaming honestly. Mostly just World of Warcraft Classic (and other older MMOs), Indie games, and emulation.
