I passed out from CDAC ACTS Bangalore in 2007.. i am not sure how the placement are these days.. but at my time i learnt all core programming languages and sujects, which i ducked in my engineering (frankly it was not taught efficiently in engg college).. CDAC gave me broad view on the usage of these… and those learning are still with me…

Try to do offline course... it's way better with more placement and training support. That's the reason offline has more placement rate than online. Don't waste your money on online.

if you have career gap after Btech more than 1-2 years ,definitely you gona face difficulties to become shorlisted candidate in interviews round.few compniew are coming which allows for all passout years to get in process of sitting in placements.
Many factors affect the shortlisting. As company don't declare the criteria so it can only be guessed.

Which course is best for someone with a computer engineering background: PG-DAC, PG-DBDA, or PG-DAI? Do companies come for placements for PG-DBDA and PG-DAI?
Placement records of DAI and DBDA were comparatively better than DAC this year.

C-cat k papers available ni hote, lekin log apne experience se bta sakte h ki kis tarah k question ate h.
I had prepared for c-cat from ccatprepration website in which they have mcqs and test papers you can solve that for rough idea about papers

Try to be in top, score good in CCEE. But most important focus on your skill development. You definitely will get calls but it's your skill that'll convert that into Offer letter.

Placement scenario depends on many factors like course, your background, CDAC centre, gap etc.
I m from non it background, i got good rank of 1044 , which pgda course will be better i m thinking for DBDA does it has good placement for non ITs also

Depends on wheather you are taking IT course or other in CDAC.
Mostly IT is there, then Electronics and few other courses.
Sir please clear my doubts regarding what is CDAC ACTS and how it is different from Normal CDAC . Also is it mandatory to give pre CAT Exam for CDAC admission ?
CDAC is an autonomous government organization which built the India's supercomputer "Param". It is also involved in various technological innovations in India.
ACTS is part of it which gives training to students.
Both are very closely related so you need not to worry or get co confused.
And yes, it is mandatory to give CCAT to take admissions in CDAC.

I don't have friends from cybersecurity but as of my knowledge in these kind of courses it isn't really matter from which background you are Or how much gap you have, if you are good at this skill and ofcourse score good in CCEE then everything is all right.
I have connected with some dcsf students they saying getting job in Cybersecurity is not easy for fresher even from cdac also

Brother i was pass out 2017 ME Branch is it good to pg dac from cdac to get placement in IT.
ME/Civil students are getting less number of calls in core IT course like DAC.
It will be difficult but not impossible. They have to perform exceptionally good in the game i guess.

@@BmyMate i got 370 rank in cdac joined acts pune and then left it in the last month when there final ccee exam was there.... I have gone through their whole education process , they don't teach how to think , how to solve problems... They just do coding in class and people there used to learn it without even thinking why it is written..
I am an IIT mtech student... For me that was just a waste of time...

@@CuriosityUnik before joining iit mtech ... I had given gate exam 2023 and cdac exam in jan 2023 cdac result came on 10 feb and gate result came on 16 march ... Cdac session starts from march to August and mtech classes starts from mid August.... In between march and August there is free time for students in which gate students participate in counselling.... To utilize that free time i joined cdac so that at least I will learn something....
But when i got iit offer later and notification for commencement of classes came from 1 aug 2023 i had to leave cdac just before 10 days of final ccee exam....
So my experience with cdac in regards of learning purpose was not that great ... Because i already knew more than what they teach there .. the only lacking was coding practice which i improved later .... Spending 1 lakh fees and living accommodation for me was not worth it there .... I would suggest any one for an online course to
learn skills ... That's my point of view..

Yes, you will get the chance for placements, in few companies you might not get shortlisted but in others you'll be elligible.
