Really nice car, but there are some negatives. Suspension is soft and car rolls in corners, also quite often it is slammed onto bump stops on uneven roads. There is close to zero feedback from the steering. You just don't know when you have grip or not. Mostly understeer in all situations. Clutch pedal like the steering is very light and the bite point is vaguely defined. It is a good daily driver, but anything after 6/10 is terrible. The car is set up for easy leisurely driving. Sports driving is out of the question. Otherwise a great package. Gearing is long and autobahn cruising is good. Economy is good, noise is okay. Comfort - seats and touching points are sufficiently padded and nice to the touch. Driving position could be well adjusted. enough room for four passengers (incl. driver). Boot space is good (smaller than octavia, but better than most in class). Cockpit is well laid out in typical VAG fashion, really intuitive controls that fall easily in hand. To sum it up - great daily driver, weak driving dynamics.
And which is better in driving dynamics in this price range? Is the Scala Monte Carlo also weak in driving dynamics, because that has sport seats but i dont know if it has stiffer suspension.
Yep, who wants a direct car,then should buy Ibiza or Leon, perfect. We had 2 Ibizas and 1 Leon so far,all new. But enough for us, we need this soft car...thnx for your opinion

That's my car. Well, I have 1.5 TSi with DSG. I also have the Amundsen multimedia system which is better than the one in this car. It's a really nice car.
Fajne auto, wczoraj odebrałem swoje, ale dobrze, że wybrałem analogowe zegary, ten system podpowiadania zmiany biegu jest jebnięty, i przy 2 tys obrotów każe mi dać bieg wyżej, a eko driving każe mi wysprzęglać przy 1300 obrotów. Ale to są podpowiedzi na małym czarnym ekranie i nie rzuca się to w oczy, tutaj jak widać idzie dostać epilepsji. Ale może można to wyłączyć. Tak czy siak za tą cenę, (ja wybrałem wersję Ambition 1.0 TSI - dałem 93k) to nic lepszego nie da się aktualnie kupić. Po prostu i myślę, że to auto będzie schodziło jak świeże bułeczki.
unfortunately not a sedan, rather an estate or hatchback... hopefully they'll make a car like this electric and not go only with crossovers and big suvs
That Fake engine sound.. it made you smiley when you push the pedal down then you realise that it comes from the speakers 😅 Interior looks decent but way too much plastic. Like all the Seat/VW of the time. It feels cheap. Not a Bad engine tho, even for a 150hp
@@Lifer1389 Maybe, but basic Skoda cars are just a little bit more than driving Uber. You just want to get in and drive to destination without thinking too much about other aspects of that journey 😉 That's why in my opinion AT will be better choice for it. The best will be just like for example in new Corsa where there is no gear lever at all and driver/passenger have more free space in center console

Szkoda że skrócili przełożenia skrzyni biegów, wcześniej na 6 biegu przy 3000 obrotów jechało się 140km/h, teraz "tylko" 130km/h.
