Men like this are born once every 150 years... so in fact, we won't meet any other Larry Hagman. Talented, polite, great human being.
I completely agree!!! I m replying your comment 13 years later. Say hi to know u are still with us.
Larry Hagman WAS Dallas. Show could never have worked the way it did without him.
What a nice man, even at 81 Larry Hagman still had a fun childish nature that was adored by so many, i think that Dallas is a fantastic show, with a brilliant leading man that will be missed by millions of people the world over, we can all thank video for these timeless capsules of memories
Rest in Peace Larry, you were one of a kind :)
He is sorely missed.
Rest In Peace sir. You will be sorely missed...
He is sorely missed.
I love how he said the Romanian dictator and his wife got what they deserved. 😂
One thing about Larry Hagman...he is who he is, and he doesn't pretend to be something he isn't. AND he still has the values he learned from growing up with his grandparents in Texas. I have always loved him since his role in South Pacific! He has made every show he has been a part of better for his involvement.
USAF veteran, stationed in London.
Dated Both Collins Sisters,
They made Elizabeth Taylor look like a boy
A wonderful actor and a thoroughly decent man. He had a remarkable screen presence and his energy was just exceptional. He created a brilliant and original character in JR Ewing. Thanks for the memories Mr Hagman ❤ 😊
The best villian in TV history. I'm Chinese, but I've always been interested about the oil industry in texas.
🛢
Larry was a real one-off, such a character. I heard him do an impression of how JR sounds in Japan once - I couldn't stop laughing 😅
I CANT BELIEVE. He starred in th movie Beware! The blob. for which movie gave me the ULTIMATE spook when I was a kid! CANT believe Hagman is still around! And looks so good for his age! VERY RARELY see people looking THAT good at that age!!!!!! Way to go Hagman!
he had one hell of a sense of humour
I love to Larry Hagman. El es un excelente actor.
Major Tony Nelson was an excellent master.
LARRY = AWESOME RIP SIR
Goodness, I hadn't seen him since a T.V special on Dallas, he has aged so much and yet so well.
Brilliant actor
Nobody else could have played JR
J R , what can I say, you are the reason I watched Dallas and truly became addicted !
You made Dallas , LOVE your character and spent countless hours over the years watching you over the years.
The charm just falls out of him, but just for the record, that's not JR, that's bumbling Tony Nelson.
LARRY THE LEGEND
Major Tony Nelson and J.R. Ewing
Your the best actor ever I loved watching Dallas. Dallas will not be the same without him rip Larry
Wow, dating the Collins sisters, Larry the hound.
my first crush....I was 5 maybe
A true great and a gentleman R.I.P xx
A true great actor.
"be reasonably sober" great advice
🙁
lol, so many years later, but still the same voice, personality, and pretty much the same looks!
9-21-2009. Happy Birthday, Larry. I liked you in Dallas as J.R. Ewing, the guy you loved to hate. As a child, I remember you on I Dream of Jeannie. Many happy returns.
He turned 78 that day; 3 50th birthdays on 9-21-2009: Dave Coulier on the same day, my dad on the 22nd, Jason Alexander on the 23rd.
@neohip
I remember the good days watching I Dream Of Jeannie as a kid. Shame I'll never live that again :(
RIP J.R.
Mark Watney went lost in space, not Major Nelson.
Did anyone notice when he was telling the story about the woman waiting in his bed that when he listed the three reasons why he didn't sleep with her, none of the three was the fact that he was MARRIED?!
Watch the Who Shot Mr Burns ep of The SImpsons - that's a parody of Dallas's Who Shot Jr?
Do you think he would have done it with Barbara Eden if she asked him?
🤷♂️
This man was beautiful in his(her, your) epoch I was going to bed late waiting for the series my beautiful alone genius for seeing it to
It seems to me Larry WAS I Dream of Jeannie's Maj. Tony Nelson in real life. RIP.
MUST BE A JOHNNY COME LATELY!
Being romanian, Dallas was a huge hit in my country! What country wasn't? I remember when JR was shot, everybody was talking about "Who shot JR?". Personally, JR was my favorite character, couldn't stand anyone who liked Bobby or Cliff or whoever!
🇷🇴
@amsantiago89 He is really an awsome guy, he would be deeply missed if he is gone.
He is gone and missed.
Yes, in fact I bet they did it at least once back in the day.
Legendary is a euphemism when it comes to this guy
I would have offered myself too...😋😍. I love real men
joey newton
Odds are pretty high that he would've been drunk. Let's face it the guy had it all and drank himself to death.
Heartbreaking.
@@dannac_8888 No he died of cancer.
RIP to both of them.
rip
Larry Hagman R.I.P
RIP, LARRY HAGMAN.
That was some good advice his mom gave him.
Mary Martin, thanks to her.
nice funny guy.
What a nice funny actor.
Some people deserve to live forever
Don't think Larry took the last suggestion to be reasonably sober too serious, my brother passed from cirrhosis and Larry would have too if he didnt have the money to buy a liver. They normally didn't give the second chance to alcoholics.
He seems so nice in real life. JR was truly ruthless and detestable but in a way I liked him
2:28-2:31 and then 2:52-2:54, lol!
Remember when Larry was gravely ill and no one expected hi to live long? Why do I get the impression that might have been about some scam he might have been running? Love Hagman but don't know if I would trust that rascal....
Jack Bachagalupe
Scam? Seriously?
He almost died from his liver transplant.
He was a VERY strong man with a Strong constitution physically.
A scam.....
He looks better without the wig!
Chuck Noland (Tom Hanks) wasn't so much better because of that hair and beard (which both didn't look like 4 years later).
How did he ever gig the gig on Dallas, after his insane behavior on the set of
I DREAM OF JEANIE? By rights, he should have been black balled for a while,
at least.
The script was offered to him.
People were a lot more tolerant and looked the other way back then. Not like now where everyone is so hypersensitive to EVERYTHING. Good thing bad thing I guess. Humans are a lot more toxic now than back then in 1965.
Cleaner air, water and more nutrients in the ground. Not like today.
He showed up in character, with the big cowboy hat on, suit & boots. I'm sure it was his idea about the show since he is from Texas and was about someone he knew.
Parkinson was one of our worst interviewers ever, horrid man asking ridiculous questions.
❓️
he have beautiful eyes
He had bushy eyebrows.
@@Frankie-O yeah well that happens to men as they age - no big deal.
Saudades de Larry
Dallas was never the same without him.
who is larry hagman ?
Major Tony Nelson on I Dream of Jeannie. especially J.R. Ewing on Dallas.
Complete drunk
🥴
