Chuka or as popularly called as Chuka beach is on the banks of Sharda Sagar Dam. It is located in Pilibhit Tiger Reserve in Lakhimpur Kheri and Bahraich Districts of Uttar Pradesh and is an hour away from the city of Pilibhit and a couple of hrs from Bareli. The Pilibhit Tiger Reserve is one of the finest examples of the exceedingly diverse and productive Terai ecosystems. Pilibhit Tiger Reserve was declared in September 2008 based on its special type of ecosystem with vast open spaces and sufficient feed for the elegant predators.
