- It's travel day and we're all super excited to leave London Gatwick and fly to Orlando, Florida with British Airways. On this trip, we will be visiting Walt Disney World, Universal Studios Orlando and Kennedy Space Center.
I'm Lisa and I'm turning 30 on this trip! I'm travelling with my boyfriend Matt, my sister Alice, our friend Rachel, my mum Jan and my dad Dave. The six of us are staying in a villa rental in Kissimmee, Orlando. Join us as we travel from London to Orlando, get through the airport, hire our beast of a car, go to Panda Express and Target!

I know!! We tried to forget about the creepy dolls for the whole trip and then finally looked at them properly on the morning we left and they were just as scary as we feared!

Thank you! To be honest, I wouldn't recommend the villa we stayed in. The location was great but the cleanliness could have been better. I recommend having a look on the Facebook group called 'It's Orlando Time Verified Villas' and you can book direct through the villa owner.
American here. I still am baffled as to how people drive those huge SUVs! Good for your father for doing it. Yes, our refrigerators are bigger than those the UK - don’t you guys even call our type/size American style? Our kitchens are bigger, we have more storage space in pantries, shelves, etc., so people tend to buy in bulk or large sizes to save on costs, which reduces the frequency of trips to the grocery store. Many people have freezers in the garage to add to the capacity. It always cracks me up when Brits talk of how big American beds are. It’s not unusual for one person to have a queen sized bed to themselves. Looking forward to your Father’s Day at NASA.
Matt did a lot of the driving too! It was like manoeuvring a tank! We tend to get groceries every few days so the fruit and veg stay fresh and my flat is tiny - a very different way of live! Dad absolutely loved the day at NASA - looking forward to editing that one!

Yes, cost of food has increased about 40% since your last visit. Those cookies were about $2.99 just a couple years ago.
That makes sense! I’d have expected around $4 but those prices were crazy. It’s a similar story in the UK too, but our prices were lower to start with.
