Sleeping Beauty story

Once upon a time, a king and queen longed for a child. Their wish was granted, and they had a beautiful daughter. At her christening, they invited fairies to be her godmothers, bestowing gifts upon her. However, they forgot to invite one fairy, who cursed the princess to die by pricking her finger on a spindle before sunset on her sixteenth birthday.
Another fairy softened the curse, proclaiming she would fall into a deep sleep for 100 years instead of dying. Despite the king's efforts to destroy all spindles, the prophecy came true. On her sixteenth birthday, the princess pricked her finger and fell asleep, along with everyone in the castle.
A thick forest grew around the castle, hiding it for a century. One day, a prince discovered the hidden castle and kissed the sleeping princess, breaking the curse. The princess and the entire kingdom awoke, and the prince and princess lived happily ever after.
