Going out for drinks with another woman, having lunch with another woman, just hanging out with another woman - all without your wife present, leaves the door open for more feelings to develop. That’s the bottom line. If you are in a committed relationship or are married, you should absolutely not be spending alone time with the opposite sex without your spouse around. Just no.

First he said he didn’t go up and say hi to Jess and then he said I just said hello and kept it short. That she was acting weird like she caught me doing something. Hmmm I think she did see something and then he went up to her and say hi in hopes she didn’t see anything. And was hoping she was too drunk to say something to his wife.
Got to stop saying the words “wife, gf mom” etc because it implants an image or thought… it needs to remain open ended to really allow the top of mind to come up.
It's not very realistic to make a pact to not be jealous of someone because your feelings can sneak up on you. What you should do is make a pact that if you start to feel jealous you will let your partner know so they can do what we can to help you feel comfortable. That is never a good idea to hang out one-on-one with somebody of the opposite gender.
Why is this women always around? Works together, over to their home for dinner, out for drinks w/out wife knowing? Kinda seems like the girl co-worker friend is crushing on the husband. I had a friend like that. She included herself in a guys life to get to know his girlfriend to know what kind of girls he was into.

I think there was cheating going on but not with the husband but with the so called friend. The quickest way to discredit someone is to shift the blame on them. If the so called friend didn't know about the arrangement (that the husband and wife had) and was caught doing something that they weren't suppose to be doing or being someplace that they weren't supposed to be at. By doing a pre empted strike against the husband, the so call friend has successfully shift the light off of them and onto someone else. The husband seem genuine and his response were quick with no hesitation. He wasn't stumbling around for answers. I would love to see a follow up or some sort of recap on this.
