Good job! It's true, you can't really see the nipple unless you lower it more. :)

Hey! This is an excellent video, thanks for sharing! I'm not sure if if it's the same tank as mine but there should be a small pipett tube pushed down inside the tank from the aux port that is just short of reaching the bottom of the tank. If this is missing or dislodged it may cause the air bubbles you were experiencing?

Do you know the part number for the Ford fuel port part?

I recommend calling your local ford dealer's part department, to confirm to your VIN if the part matches, but for most part - these work on all that I've installed so far - seems like ebay is a bit cheaper and saves you a trip to the dealer (most dont stock them) - CK4Z-9B210-B (part number you were asking about)

What year Transit is this? I have a 2022 and there's been some mixed information on whether this fuel port has changed this year. thanks!

Hey Good Morning! This is a 2017 Ford Transit 350 with the 3.5 ecoboost gas engine. The easiest thing is to run the fuel low in the tank and then drop it and use a mirror and see if the plug is still on top. Hopefully this helps! Thanks, Jared

2022 was offered from factory (customer had to buy the option/ask for it) - it was the aux fuel port thats on the side access (easier) than one atop where you have to drop the tank. If you have it, it will be just towards the rear section of the tank (almost at the last mount strap's location) - if you didnt buy the option to have it pre-installed by factory, than only way to tap in - is to go via "dropping the fuel tank" way. Hope this helps

Great video! Thank you for sharing all your knowledge. I bought an OEM ford transit connector and ran a fuel line from the aux nipple on the gas tank of my 2015 transit all the way to a honda generator. I have about 20 ft of fuel line with a fuel filter and a built in pump to prime the line. However, after filling up both tanks, the vehicle and the generator and priming the line, the generator struggles to suck in fuel and turns off after a few mins of running. The symptoms are similar to the ones you get when you turn a generator on and dob’t open the air vent to allow the tank to replace the burnt fuel. I’m not sure what to do in this case, I know the vehicle’s tank is sealed, so i’m not sure how to proceed. Could you offer any guidance? Thanks again 🙏🏽

Great video. Did you have to add a straw into the fuel nipple or is there a hose already attached mine won’t seem to suck fuel out so I’m thinking there is not actually a hose connected to the nipple

Good Morning, in our van there was already a straw that reaches 3/4 of the way down into the tank. It leaves the last 1/4 tank for the van to drive home. Maybe your tank is below a 1/4 while you are trying? Enjoy< Jared

I want to add a auxiliary fuel port to my 2008 f150 for a generator. I have a idea to do that and I may install a check valve in it also.

Good Morning, you will have to check and see if the F150 has the same auxiliary port coming out of the top of the tank. Enjoy, Jared

Factory filler tube leaves 1/4 tank. If fuel is low, tube will suck air.
