can you add how you would sonographically describe the last few pathologies in a report?
Thann uuu amazing
Hi, great job and thank you. I'm using these to help me study for my ped's board. I have a question for clarification. On your last slide, when you said PVL are usually focal, did you mean encephalomalacia's are focal and PVL diffuse?
I too guess the same
Encephalomalacia is a term used for loss of brain tissue anywhere in the brain parenchyma, whereas periventricular leukomalacia (PVL) is just that - loss of white matter around the ventricles. (I'm an attending radiologist)
The neonatologist in our hospital is suggesting that our radiologists are over calling PVL. Any tips on what is an allowable amount of echogenicity? Is it possible to over call PVL when we are using the echogenicity of the choroid plexus as a guide?
Brain hemorrhage grade 4 is curable or non curable in premature baby's.... pls reply me si
Sir your video is amazing My cousin sister has given birth to premature 1 baby is normal and the other female baby is experiencing 111 Grade PVL. Pls pls tell me. Sir is it curable
