I work on computer tomography and it was very interesting for me the sonography finding of intracranial bleeding. I am not very good in English. So I'am apologized if there is mistaken.your lecture is terrific. Thank you very much. Saniyat. Khasavurt.Dagestan. Russia.
The neonatologist in our hospital is suggesting that our radiologists are over calling PVL. Any tips on what is an allowable amount of echogenicity? Is it possible to over call PVL when we are using the echogenicity of the choroid plexus as a guide?
Hi, great job and thank you. I'm using these to help me study for my ped's board. I have a question for clarification. On your last slide, when you said PVL are usually focal, did you mean encephalomalacia's are focal and PVL diffuse?
Encephalomalacia is a term used for loss of brain tissue anywhere in the brain parenchyma, whereas periventricular leukomalacia (PVL) is just that - loss of white matter around the ventricles. (I'm an attending radiologist)
my baby had an ultrasound done in his brain the tech dint say a word he wrote on the screen "?evidence of germ bleed on left side" do you know what this means 😞
Sir your video is amazing My cousin sister has given birth to premature 1 baby is normal and the other female baby is experiencing 111 Grade PVL. Pls pls tell me. Sir is it curable
