So, the obvious worst case scenario is the lousy looking, on paper, offensive line gets our QB killed!!! It’s like Groundhog Day, every year we need tackles and every year goes by without it being addressed and watching our QB getting killed!!! I’m tired of going into the year praying our QB makes through each game…. Tell me again what the definition of insanity is???

Too many times, we've been in contention or better for a playoff spot since Gibbs first left us and did not follow it up. 1996, 1997, 1999, 2000, 2005, 2008, 2012, 2015, 2016, 2018, 2020, 2021, 2022. I'm sorry but records don't tell the story. The 1980 team sucked record-wise but the core of that team was the core of the teams from 1981 to 1985. Going 4-13 could be better than 9-8, at least going forward. Going 4-13 last year was the second best outcome possible.
