Worked well for me apart from an issue with transferring the file from google drive to a USB. I had continual errors saying that the file was too big, even though it was only 5GB and the stick I was using was 8GB, I even tried a 15GB stick and got the same issue. In the end I used a 500GB backup drive and that worked. Strange issue but otherwise a perfect walkthrough, thank you.

Friend, I'm having issues with push notifications as well. Although, I managed to complete the GMS installation procedure successfully, push notifications are not working, for example with Gmail.

you should download the new firmware and flash it with hisuite (the procedure is same as downgrade firmware).to find the correct firmware (in my phone, newest is ver.11.0.0.151), please google it -> Huawei Firmware Finder (Team MT) application (anyway, i found it at xda developers website)

your a great guy and do good work. but dear sir, if you already use a laptop with hisuite why make it so much more work downloading via phone . why not show how to get every download via the laptop, put via laptop on stick and then show the installation. for us non techies its already hard to follow. doing the downloads from xda via phone doesnt make it easier

This will not work. Mate 40 was released with EmUI 11 and can't be downgraded to version which supports Lzplay app. So don't waste your time and data. Only working solution for your phone are apps like Gspace, VMOS, VphoneGaGa, use them 👍

I has Join EMUI 11 Beta for Nova 5T. EMUI 11 isn't ready for release globaly. It's only Animation and smoothness. For Battery Performance I feel same like EMUI 10.1. But for performance, this version is worst. When I play Genshin Impact, framedrop everytime ( Even I set in Low Setting ). I hope Huawei will fix this problem.

Hello, I don't know from where is your device but region C316 is not familiar to me. You can try to search for firmware in easy-firmware.com but they are paid. Otherwise you can use apps like Dualspace or Gspace.

You didn't make it right when installing and uninstall google play services. Use fix button in Googlefier until it's working without any errors or notifications and don't forget to be patient 👍

Edit I found my issue, the file was not moving across properly as my USB was formatted to FAT32, fix: format to exFAT then move it to the USB and it should work

@@SystemHacks cannot roll back the firmware beyond the last one. When reboot wih the firmware on the memory stick it fails. Every time. No bother, I've spent long enough trying.
I have the HiSuite version mentioned in your video, but when I'm accessing the update function I don't have the option to switch on other EMUI versions.

Factory reset will remove google services and if you remove your account it will cause problems. Only solution is to watch my video for adding additional Google account, add it and after that remove yours.

What am i doing wrong? Using my usb, I keep getting "No Files" after tapping on "Software Update" and "Memory Card Update". I had formated usb on my phone. I see the data on the usb that has been saved.

That is when the USB stopped working on my P40 and my P20. I have reformated using my PC and even bought another flash memory, but there must be some setting in the phone that is not letting me in. All I see is the the usb will recharge, but when I click on the file transfer option, it jumps right back to recharge. There are times when being a senior citizen has its disadvantages.

I tried many times and finally I was able to apply GMS introduction "No warning notification, with bush notification (excluding GSF dependent apps)" to this terminal (^ _ ^) v Later, I was able to use "Huawei Mate Xs" more conveniently (comfortably) by using "VMOS (latest version, Android7.1)" with complement (+ α).

stuck on location settings for hisuite on huawei mate 30 pro 5G EMUI 11 (no option to enable location permission), it doesnt allow me to use Hisuite
If (Downgrade is not available) just Disable (Find my Device) re-connect your phone and hope everything will go smooth.

At the "You are now using the latest version" screen, HiSuite didn't give me the option to choose to switch to another version... :(

Huawei mate 30 is getting failed and disconnected from device at 7% while installing after download. Please help me.

I got the the point of installing the os version from USB, and no matter what I do I just get wrong version when trying to install it. Any advice?
Edit I found my issue, the file was not moving across properly as my USB was formatted to FAT32, fix: format to exFAT then move it to the USB and it should work

ELE- LGRP1-CHN purchased from China. Currently I am having EMUI version 11.0.0.128 .
Can you please let me know I should downgrade to which compatible version. EMUI 9 or 10 ? I hade tried with many 10.0 versions but googlifier are not compatible. Really upset.

When i connect my phone to hisuite and push the upgrade button it says only that i use the latest version. It doesnt give the option for previous versions. What can i do for that?
Are you use same hisuite version as the one in video description?

@@SystemHacks cannot roll back the firmware beyond the last one. When reboot wih the firmware on the memory stick it fails. Every time.

Huawei mate 40 Pro is born with EmUI 11 so sadly you can't downgrade to EmUI 10 and no GMS for your phone.

factory reset will remove google services right?
Factory reset will remove google services and if you remove your account it will cause problems. Only solution is to watch my video for adding additional Google account, add it and after that remove yours.

No, push notifications will not work for most of apps, and yes if change password it will break GMS but I have video to fix that.

Can you please bring EOD to P40 pro?. It has that infrared sensor in front. So there can be a mod that can enable EOD in P40 pro. Much like AOD mod on One plus devices was once brought in.

Hello sir, I followed all the steps shown in the video but when I try to download the file from Drive I can't download the "copy" but I download the file "els-nx9 ...." and when I tried to install it on the P40 Pro tells me it's incompatible. What am i doing wrong? Using my usb, I keep getting "No Files" after tapping on "Software Update" and "Memory Card Update". I had formated usb on my phone. I see the data on the usb that has been saved.

Usb should be formatted in ntfs and copy dload folder in root directory.
@@SystemHacks Thank you for prompt reply. Several days ago I nearly had all of google working, then got impatient, then decided to start all over. That is when the USB stopped working on my P40 and my P20. I have reformated using my PC and even bought another flash memory, but there must be some setting in the phone that is not letting me in. All I see is the the usb will recharge, but when I click on the file transfer option, it jumps right back to recharge. There are times when being a senior citizen has its disadvantages.

The notification function does not work with "Google fier". Currently, I am using "Huawei Mate Xs" for indoor use.
I tried many times and finally I was able to apply GMS introduction "No warning notification, with bush notification (excluding GSF dependent apps)" to this terminal (^ _ ^) v
Later, I was able to use "Huawei Mate Xs" more conveniently (comfortably) by using "VMOS (latest version, Android7.1)" with complement (+ α).
