Thank you man! This game was a really cool evolution of the classic TMNT sound -- some tracks (like the zoo level) was a a slight but appropriate departure from the badass beat-em-up style (really hard to translate to the Turtles In Time sound), but this one was just perfect for the intro stage to set the tone and for continuity from the previous games, right at home in the Turtles In Time style :)
That's *EXACTLY* how this version is supposed to sound like.

TMNT Shredder's Revenge is truly a love letter to longtime fans of the Turtles and beat-em-ups in general-- even right down to the music samples in some of its stages. Almost cried when I heard Mall Meltdown for the first time.

There’s really some je ne sais quoi you NAILED here. Like, I’m no composer, but this just has the SPIRIT of a turtles in time track instead of just being a soundfont swap (which would have been impressive by itself). Turtles in time’s soundtrack just has this ineffable energy that makes it really stick with people, and so does shredder’s revenge, but they’re different energies and you’ve somehow managed to bridge them, you actual wizard.
Thank you so much! It means a lot to me that you noticed that -- it can be a challenge to find the sweet spot between both titles but really rewarding when it pans out :)

TBH this was originally going to be a one-time thing, but after being pleasantly surprised by the feedback I'll definitely keep this going as long as I can do justice to both Tee Lopes and the Turtles In Time style. I'm keeping an eye on what tracks/stages are requested here :)
And Wrath of the Lady theme. I love that one and wish there's a remix of that one.

Thank you so much! Yeah, I agree a HyperStone Heist arrangement would be really cool, especially to represent those who grew up with Sega. Unfortunately I don't have the tools to do HSH remixes (my synth is specialized for SNES audio), and I've spent very little time playing on Sega Genesis/Mega Drive so I don't have the intuition for how its audio is handled under the hood (it's personally important that I make these tracks as authentic as possible to their corresponding console). Sorry!

Thank you! Both the C700 synth (free) and Plogue Chipsynth (paid) are good samplers to use, and you can get the samples themselves from Zophar's Domain. There should be YT tutorials on how to import the samples so you can start writing your own tracks

Thank you! Turtles in Time, as with most other SNES games, has publicly available SPC (audio data) files that I can import into my music production software and reuse as virtual instruments :)

Unfortunately I've never owned a Sega Genesis and never worked with its sounds, so I'm definitely unqualified to make an authentic-sounding remix. I'd rather have someone else make that!

Sorry about that! I uploaded an improved version later that day -- I forgot to add some pitch bending effect to the last sustained note of the song (and other more minor changes elsewhere) in the initial upload, and it was important enough that I wanted to make those changes. I should have caught them earlier!
