I don't think you missed much in the Boston 12 - quite clunky in our size. Rebel v4 was just too wide for me but you might have liked it. Of these the Zoom Fly 6 is easily the one I like the most although only these three have tried.
I feel sorry that the superblast 2 is not being made in your size, great shoe for long runs. Paul Lang, asics global senior product manager said in an interview with BITR that version 3 will be available in larger sizes. I have Hoka Cielo and Mach X2, I think you would like them, maybe it's worth saving up for their new improved versions that Hoka wants to release in 2025. I know you like the Adios Pro 3, which has a similar heel counter to the mach x2 so you shouldn't have a problem with it
The Rebel V4 felt dull compared to the Novablast. It never really worked for me. The farthest I've ran in the Deviate Nitro Elite 3 is 32kms, after that you can really feel the narrowness (despite sizing up). And I'm one of those runners who's ankles got deeply, badly lacerated by the Mach X2. I was less than 10kms into a run when another runner warned me that I was bleeding down into the heel counter of the shoe. Left me a bit shaken and traumatized. The ideal Mach X would be the midsole of the Mach X2 and the upper of the Mach X.
The Mach X3 already exists and it looks like as it is the same shoe, just with the upper of the Mach 6 with its heel flare. I also really want to try them out! 😀
If you have the chance to try the Puma in-store, you might discover that half a size down is perfectly fine. I have this shoe and in my usual size it runs long. Regarding the Superblast, it is very good but honestly sometimes it feels that a lot of people talk about it without even having tried it. It's becoming one of those automatic bot responses...
I am in between 2 sizes and ordered per chance the Puma Velocity Nitro 3 GTX in the larger size (1/4 size up?) because of the price of 90€ inkl. shipping. Runs long, but the toenail of the big toe digs into the upper when sliding into the shoe. You still notice it when standing, but nit when running. Right now i received a brand new non-GTX Version in the same size (in the awesome sunrise colour) and there is no such thing as toenail pressing against the toe box! And in general, i could have gone a half size smaller, so instead of +1/4 size to then -1/4 size. Do this also happen with other Pumas? I have a Deviate Nitro 2 in -1/4 size on its way to me :) And vor the Velocity and other models, I am going to look for sales, at least until the Novablast 5 comes in a TR Version or something. The Noosa Tri 16 should also come in better colours! Fingers crossed 🤞
I have fussy flat, wideish feet. But they're size us9-9.5 - thankfully I can fit the rebel v4 and superblasts. It's interesting that your universe doesn't include my 2 favourite shoes! You make the Mach 6 sound good but I've heard across the board that the Rebel v4 is better 😂
Rebel is for wide and higher volume footed lightweights - i concluded after all tests and opinions, therefore i haven't had them on my feet since i am narrow and very low volume footed and heavy.
You should 100% try the puma deviate nitro elite 3. I wasn’t expecting it to be as good as u was In fact it’s the first non Nike racing shoe that has made it as my first choice racing shoe in my shoe rotation . It’s much better then the vapourfly or the meta speed sky Paris Only other shoe that compares is the alphafly 3 as I love shoe But they both feel completely different. I tend to alpha for longer races and puma for shorter.. but they are both great at any distances Wish I could have tried the cielo x1 sounds like a amazing training shoe but was too expensive for me to risk trying especially if it just became a training shoe
I was about to say the same thing. I've been keeping an eye out for a pair of size 11s and the only place in the UK that seemed to have any men's sizes was Start Fitness, but only in 13. They've been sitting there for weeks waiting for your cash - go on, you know you want to!
Sky or Edge for me, they looked very Takumi Senish, skinny and fast with a bit higher stack. Had too many race shoes with not many miles on them so didn't pick them up. Bring on the pro4 though, no more shenanigans Adidas, over produce the hell out of them.
I'm still on Endorphin Speed 2 and Puma Deviate Elite V1 as they are my "fixed" shoes in my rotation. Then we have 2 other that is there more on a short term basis; currently Nike Zoom Fly 6 and Adidas Adistar 3.

God I love the Boston 12 got them last week such a goated shoe and works really well like the peg plus and mach 6
I hope you do pick up a pair of the Zoom Fly 6. I would love to hear your thoughts on it.
Yes you really need to try the Zoom Fly 6. It’s one of my favorites.
I can happily say the zoom fly 6 is a brilliant shoe. Comfortable and fast, not heavy

Can I ask where is this interview mate ? If this is true then this has made my running trainer year
@ 294th episode of Drop by believe in the run, interview with Paul Lang, asics global senior product manager, around minute 47m14s

I've found the Mach X 2 brilliant but the Boston 12 a massive disappointment...feels light but dead on my foot.
Hoka Mach X2 is a fantastic shoe especially for the £135 I paid.
Tempted by the Celio1 but can’t get enough discount on it
Deviate nitro elite v3, Mach x2, Mach 6, cloud boom strike LS and cielo x1. Also Boston 12 is very firm so by all accounts you will like it

If a Boston 13 comes out I’ll def be looking to get another pair of 12s on discount. Didn’t love the 12s straight away but def grew into them.
Hey Andy. Nitro Elite 3 in size 13 in two colourways on Puma EU sites. Picked up a pair only a couple of weeks ago. Bouncy!

Hi. Coffee and Andy video on saturday morning, perfect. Like. A nice weekend for everyone.
☕️
Mee too, bit it is already midday and the sun is declining... I have to get out quickly! 😱
Andy, what about Topo Specter 2?
Its got a better foam than both Rebel and Mach, and a much better build.
Hi Andy, I’ve just searched for the Puma shoes and start fitness have them currently only in size 13. 👍
Yes a few people has said this, not sure how I missed them! Thanks buddy!
Just for balance. I hate the Boston 12. Foam is awesome but the fit is dreadful.
Oh that’s not good!
Nice Review. DNE3 new colourway drop direct from Puma 18/12/24👌
Oh thank you!
Superblast comes in size 13
Sadly it doesn’t… not a UK13 anyway 😞
You can get deviate nitro elite 3 in size 13 at start fitness righ now
No way? Let me check!
@ might get %10 off using discount code Fordyruns. Although it’s say it excluded from discounts it might still work

Hey the puma is in the US online store
In a US14/UK13?
@@TheFODRunnerfor deviate nitro elite 3, only size 13 and 14 US are left lol
Was about to post an angry comment for not mentioning the Evo SL but you saved yourself there in the last 10 seconds;)
😂
Is there a hint of a sore throat, that we can hear? Oh no... winter season...
Sadly, yes
I'm still on Endorphin Speed 2 and Puma Deviate Elite V1 as they are my "fixed" shoes in my rotation. Then we have 2 other that is there more on a short term basis; currently Nike Zoom Fly 6 and Adidas Adistar 3.
Cielo X1 is nonsense
