I just love Mr. Smith as Lloyd. I have been showing horses for 20 years plus. And I have had the pleasure of meeting gentlemen like him. Always so kind and respectful. I wish all men could be like him. Thank you Mr. Smith from your big fame in Texas.
Good stuff. Never met Forrie, but I could sit around and listen to the stories as long as he was telling them. I'm a couple years younger, but we know a bunch of the same people.

My new saying, Don't make me go Kevin Costner on you . Thanks for showing and telling how it really is. Actuation of ranches for monopoly is BS.
Appreciate listenin' to a cowboy like Forrie! The wisdom from the past is all too often lost forever. I'd encourage him to write a biography, at least, so the younger set can learn the right ways, if they fix on working with horses and stock.
Good to hear turth from a real cowboy. Love hearing from the real guys. I never worked a range or movie set. But, we have broken and trained several horses over the years. And it's no shit one of the most high energy things you can do. You have to keep a balance within yourself. So the horses don't pile drive you. And I agree Lonesome Dove was and still is one of the best movies made in years. Thanks for the great interview
Talk story. One of the cultural items we have picked up from our visits to Hawaii is how community history is passed down by 'talking story' - basically just listening to the 'elders' share their personal history. For me, this type of vid is the most compelling for me, whether it is a F14 pilot or a WWII veteran or a modern day cowboy - their personal stories are an insight into a world that I would never have known about. Nicely done.
Stay toned I will have more cowboy and artist story's coming out soon waiting on some better filming and sound equipment, and a lil free time. But I promise there coming soon.
Forrie. Did you know Rex Bugbee, pickup man for Frontier for several years. He was 65 when he got killed picking up at Guymon a little over a year ago. Listening to you reminds me of him. What a hand, all the way around
