You aren't wrong. The wall can be tricky to land sometimes, but not only that you're obviously wanting to apply the damage and slowing effect, and once you have the t1 talent that gives you damage amp and stamina reduction you definitely wanna make sure not only that you trap the enemy, but that you hit them with the wall. It would be very easy to simply trap the Warden on the right side of it, a good example is the first wall I throw out which does hit but doesn't trap him, I could have let that go further to get him on my side of it. Esp since I don't have the damage amp upgrade yet. Even after 650+ games on mcginnis it's still very possible to miss the wall, for me at least. Probably a sign that I'm at the rank I should be, give or take.
