- After spending yesterday in Looe, we were not impressed so we had to come back and try the other side of the bridge..and...WOW! Today we fell in love with Cornwall and this beautiful Cornish town. The sun came out and we went in search for the BEST Cornish Pasty Cornwall has to offer.

It always amazes me when the tide goes out and the boats are left sitting on the sand. One of my best holiday moments was in Polperro and (if it is still there) almost the last building on the right was a fish & chip take-away. I bought some and carried on walking to the coast path and sat on the first bench. I then ate the best fish & chips ever and watched basking sharks - fond memories.
Best Part of Kayaking in That Beautiful Bay. GO With the tide, Out & In. Paddling in That Crystal Waters Is Magical 🙏 Swimming in The Salt WATER Is Purification to anyones Health. ♥️

Hi Mazzy and Dan, thanks for the walk about in Looe. We visit Cornwall every year but never been to Looe! We will next year. Spoilt for choice for pasty and cake shops, love a pasty , steak and Stilton is delicious. We loved Polperro too , but parking does cost an arm and a leg , even if you only want a couple of hours. Thankyou both, safe travels 👍👍😃😃😃😃
If you like looe, try Mevagissey. It’s beautiful. Go in the first car park you see! Go any further in a camper and you might regret it
But Polperro is a must :-)
You can't beat a bit of Looe, love the place even more than West bay. 😉
And if you want. Can take you to a beautiful spot not far from there. Its a little walk but a lovely walk

I love Kayaking out to St George's Island from Looe car park. Probably stayed there 10 times amongst many other beautiful places in Cornwall ♥️

You won't regret it.
Good bus service straight outside the campsite to Looe and onto Polperro or you can go onto Plymouth in the other direction

Looks a beautiful place, great for families and a load of culture too. I'm 6 weeks into an 8 week tour of Scotland. Had maybe 2 sunny days in that time but its fine for up here. Looking forward to Polperro, if its the place I think it is, there's an art gallery along the harbour, very similar looking to Looe.
Yes there is an art shop there.

Can't wait to see Polperro again. We looked in to buying The Noughts and Crosses Pub/Hotel back in 1999. We decided to not pursue it. Oh how much I regret it now. 🥺. Hope it was fabulous ❤️
Forgot to say..go down to harbour when fishing boats are coming in and see the sea lions following.. great experience and photos ☺️
Been holidaying in Looe for 32 years when our eldest was 1, only missed 1 year it gets in your soul, we are there in 1 week for a fortnight at the same campsite, we used to go to pollpero at least half a dozen times in the evening until the car park owner put the evening prices up. I was told by pollpero council that it is a private car park and they have no control over the prices so we very rarely go which is a shame because it is beautiful. Loved your visit, I now need a traditional pasty
Yes the car park is disgusting prices.
What a beautiful place looks a bit like Whitby but Whitby doesn't have that sea colour, the colour of that sea just looks amazing so clear. The whole place looks stunning with all the lovely pubs and cafes you could easily spent a week in that place. Those pie and cake shops wow your spoilt for choice. I would like to visit that place sometime thanks for the tour around happy days.

While in try Davies fish n chips every time I visit Looe very good very nice, nice n tasty. Glad you enjoyed your time in Looe.

Hey guys, I've also experienced the rotten egg smell, in some cases it could be the Catalytic converter that's part of the exhaust system on your vehicle. Hopefully that's not the problem. Keep up the great work! 👍

I'm only 30 mins from you guys when your in Newquay. There are better areas to stay than Newquay but I understand why your there. Beef and stilton pasties are some of the best!

Glad you enjoyed looe Dan and Mazz, that was where I went to School as a kid and lived at the top of polperro at killigarth. It's us who are at Hendra at the moment and it's a beautiful campsite, unfortunately we leave Saturday morning so we won't get the pleasure of seeing you. If you go through pelynt on the way to Newquay stop off at the local butchers and ask for Joe he will sort out all your BBQ food as it's my mum's partner, his burgers and sausages are to die for you will thank me later Dan. Enjoy Polperro apart from the car park fees👍🏻

I live in Charlestown. About 30 minutes from Newquay (although everywhere is half an hour away in Cornwall) lol come to Charlestown if you get a chance. It’s only small but it’s awesome. If you do park on the road on the way down to the harbour.

You will be fine as long as you miss the small roads.
Bicarbs and vinegar is good to clean your grey water waste unit. We found that using the pink flush in our caravan toilet caused a build up of black mould so we avoid using that, many reports of this online, I’m wondering if it will do the same in your grey water unit!

As long as it is out of season cornwall is the best place in the world I love living here , just watch the narrow lanes (and Scottish drivers ) they can be a nightmare, I reckon if Dan grows a tash he will look like a young Freddie Mercury

If you go back in two weeks after the kids have broken up you will understand why the second car park is there. Cornwall will be heaving nose to tail. I also make Pasties about the same size and bigger for our business and we sell an easy three hundred a week. Price £2.20 half the price of those in Looe. I am shocked at those prices. Looe is great though. Loved the place since my first visit thirty years ago and there are lots more lovely places to discover as well.
Hey guys, just found your channel. Welcome to Cornwall. If you want a good pasty you must try the butchers in Lostwithiel, they are superb! Nice walks along the river too or up to the castle. Lerryn is gorgeous but roads would be tight for you. If you’re staying in Cornwall for a while and heading further west then please, please, please go to the Minack theatre! There is a stunning camp site nearby you can walk from. Check out Camper Vibe, they went there and agreed with me! It’s my favourite place on earth. I’ll keep watching and hope you get there. Forget Newquay btw it’s too cheap and nasty these days. Another nice trip is go to Truro and get the boat ride down to Falmouth. It’s well worth it. Enjoy Cornwall xx
