Yeah, that vacuum tuning cap. We used to design RF equipment and those caps were always used in the high-power ATU’s in aircraft, meaning electrically short antennas…so, high-voltage stuff even today.

My former physiotherapist (old skool) used Diathermy. The appliance was the size of a washing machine and on wheels, with a flexible arm with a round box on the end.
This round box was then attached to the body part with elastic bands. This for about 20 minutes, after 5 minutes you felt an nice internal warm glow.

Hi Bjorn, I was sometime ago at an "alternative" Doctor that used Diathermy too and had a session for my Tinnitus, didn't Helped :-) but I was more concentrated at the Diathermy Machine itself (from the 50-60's) with BIG Tubes .

i seen a video Griffin G.brock useing a diathermy machine with a cathode ray tube 1a21 for some kind of alternative x ray device his machine is much smaller, I wish i could see the potential of this machine thank you verry much for sharing
