Yup, in the manga she mentioned that in the past she would find some of her brothers not breathing anymore, some from drowning and others for other more reasons like too much injuries from getting beaten up or 'punished'

fun fact: demon slayer uniform can’t be riped did u notice that when tanjiro met kanao her demon slayer uniform was long but in season 4 upcoming season her uniform is short like the skirt only 7% of ppl notice that after it was pointed out everyone knows it rn if u dont watch demon slayer or have read the mangas u’ll properly don’t know or even noticed it heres a chance to notice it
Another fun fact: tengen uzui,kanao,shinobu,Rengoku n inosuke n zenitsu dont have a demon slayer marks but others have it except some normal slayers
