To me, Daruk's theme gives off a calm, yet powerful vibe. Like "I won't start a fight, but don't think I won't slap you with the full force of Death Mountain. Don't believe me? Fuck around and find out!" And that fits him perfectly! P.S. Daruk is criminally underrated
You know all of the other champion themes are bops, but something about this theme is just really catchy to me. It's got a nice jolly tone to it, makes me feel like I'm dominating on the battlefield. I also really like the marimba in this song too
Everyone says that this theme doesn't really represent Daruk, but to be fair, his theme was pretty straightforward and simple, just like his characterization. I believe that the clarinets and marimbas were excellent modifications to the little substance of his original theme.
I dig how well this reps the vibe of Gordon’s and that opener is legendary but I’m sad the second part of Daruk’s theme wasn’t used. I know it’s more on the somber side but hey if they can turn Mipha’s theme into Sidon’s and then into an upbeat warriors rendition I reckon they could’ve done it. It’s just kinda sucky since the other 3 themes both rep the champion and their race at the same time so damn well while this only does the latter. But it’s still a bop and at the end of the day that’s what matters.
Not sure why, but it gives me heavy Spirit Tracks vibes at around 1:00 minute... It sounds like the tune interspersed in all the village tunes I think... Maybe also a bit of the Tower of Spirits dungeon song
It actually is also much like the kakariko village theme from Twilight Princess. It’s pretty much the part of the song before it loops again, if you were to listen to the song
Heck I just love this games soundtrack especially the choking remixes- Daruks Theme is sooo good I love it I also love Daruks slow but powerful attacks in the game but I hate walking or rolling with him the movement just doesn't feel rigjt to me- Edit: the song mostly is as slow but powerful as Daruk so it really fits

It’s a really nice detail and I love it, such a good call back. Because kakariko in Twilight Princess had a lot to do with the gorons
