- Опубліковано 30 жов 2007
- The Palax Power 100s is a firewood processor designed for professional use. It includes several unique proprietary features that make it the most efficient, productive and reliable machine of its size for processing big trees. The robust Palax Power 100s is equipped with a 1000 mm / 39.3 in overhead hard-metal blade, a thrust force of 16 tons (kg) / 35,300 lbs and fully hydraulic control. The machine is at its best when processing hardwood. The maximum tree diameter is 40 cm / 15.7 in.
Automatic high-speed valve - As a rule, the work stroke is always performed at high speed. If the smaller splitting force induced by the high-speed function is great enough, the wood will split up. If the splitting force at high speed is not great enough, it will immediately be boosted. As soon as the splitting of the wood starts and the force requirement is reduced, the high-speed operation will automatically resume. The high-speed motion brings added speed for small trees and added force for big trees.
Optimizing the stroke length increases the splitting speed - The Palax Optimi is the method for optimizing the length of the splitting stroke by limiting the cylinder stroke in accordance with the length of the processed wood. A full stroke is used for processing longer sized wood. If the length of the processed wood is shorter sized, then the cylinder stroke is reduced to almost a half and thus the splitting speed is virtually doubled!
Automatic tightening of the V-belts - The transmission drive belts of the Palax Power 100 are equipped with automatic tightening. Automatic tightening of the belts completely eliminates the need for repeated retightening of the belts or malfunctions due to slack or too-tight drive belts. Keeping the belts at the correct tightness greatly extends the service life of the belts and the entire transmission.
Long service intervals - increased productivity - Lubed-for-life ball bearings in all the control levers make operation of the machine precise, reliable and long lived and extend the service intervals.

I could sit and watch that all day!
The sounds the wood makes when its splitting mesmerizing.
This is enormously satisfying to watch.
Every year I come back and give this a watch. It's mesmerising. The sound of splitting wood gives me tingles
I like my maul and my ax but I could watch that thing all day. I don't know why but I really like watching wood being split.
I love the sound of the wood splitting.
It sound like ...victory!
Brings back memories. I worked for a company in Scotland that sold and serviced, Palax processors. That was about 10 years ago.
watching the truck get loaded on top of everything else was amazing. I own a mixed woodlot and would love to see "normal" mixed sizes and bends go through. It actually looks like it could handle that too!
The saw sound followed by the crunch is strangely satisfying.
fluid working machinery like this gives me total wood
¡Increíble video! Me encantó ver cómo el Palax Power100S Firewood Processor versión 02 hace el trabajo de manera tan eficiente. Realmente muestra cómo la tecnología puede hacer que las tareas sean más fáciles y rápidas. ¡Gran trabajo!
riemurasiasta päivää.
+Martin Berzerker Samoin, pitäiskö lähtee hengailee johonki toisellekkin sivustolle?
One of the most satisfying sounds in the world.
whoever made this video: well done.
love the sounds---clear and distinct
camera angles. it's worthy of the old
Mr. Rogers specials and sesame street.
so satisfying watching that, and that crunch sounds so good
That splitting sound has to be one of the greatest noises.. ever.
The sound of wood being split like this is such a satisfying sound...
something about watching the logs get split is mesmerizing to me.
Wow, this machine is all business! I am impressed! Thanks for posting.
I don't know why, but this is so satisfying to watch!
That is cool! I have seen and used log splitters before but this machine is awesome.
There arent words to describe how much I want one of those. I'm cutting wood for winter now and my back is killing me!
this is the best wood processor ever made ive seen , that s the beast !!!!!
friend of mine made one nearly identical to this. he however, didnt have the luxury of perfect logs (like the rest of you are saying) he had a splitting wedge appx. 30% heavier than the one in this video, and he would shear the wedge right off when he had to go through knots. other than that... i highly recommend a machine like this to anyone who wants to make money from firewood processing as a job.
This is the kind of stuff tha keeps me up at night.
I wish I could borrow this for just 1 day per year! Gotta feed my Hopsco outdoor wood furnace, and this splitter would do the trick just perfectly!
i could watch this all day!
That really is a nice machine
"i could watch this all day! "
Splitter part reminds me of my french fry cutter , great machine you have there
i could watch this all day
that is nothing short of AWESOME! well done
Thats a wicked setup!
i could watch that all day
All these comments about how we like watching this....
Man grunt 🔥
Runs deeper than you think....
now they have the right idea, im impressed and interested in this machine and ill look further into it.
Very slick operation!!!
Just that sound of splitting wood.....ecstasy
thats a nice fast log processor, few improwements to make it fully automatic and the guy could get fired lol
this baby sure makes some nice profit of those loggs, i want one of those!
Brilliantly Designed. Love it.
Excellent piece of kit.
Riemurasiasta toinen päivää
sweet,,, wish we had one of those back in the day
that was oddly satisfying to watch
This machine sounds very, very happy.
That is SO time saving and cool!!!
A thing of Beauty Mate.
Impressive machine!
so satisfying, like those old Play dough toys
@UndaThaRug don't forget about bringing u a cold beer too!!! great add dude
Lovely sound
that is one serious machine. very efficient.
COLL WORK GUYS BEST 1 I HAVE SEEN YET...
Henry Ford would admire the assembly line production........ Nice machine:)
cool wood splitter bro
Для дома мне кажется слишком шикарно :-)
the mrs. would love one ot these for christmas too !
@cambriacity You replace the axe by lifting it by hand. Axes are available in 2/4-way, 2/6-way, 2/8-way and 12-way.
im weird but i love the sound of the wood splitting.
i cant even imagine the force it takes for that thing to push wood to the point of splitting, pretty rad.
Wow .. Awesome Machine
no wonder a bundle at the gas station is being sold for 9 bucks. This machine cant be cheap to operate. Looks like a hell of a lot of fun to operate.
Cool!!! That's fun to watch!!
I could watch this for hours.
I want one so bad. I have, like, millions of old firewood logs that I have been meaning to cut lately.
thats the coolest thing i have ever seen....
Aww... but the water pipes used to push potatoes through the blades and then carry them to the next part are already so cool!
THIS IS SO SICK!!!!
wicked tech there i hate splittin logs this looks great
this machine is awesome!
That's one impressive machine.
Just the splitting section is approx $12k. The auto-loader conveyor is $3k. The unload conveyor with tumbler is $4k. So, for the whole thing would be under $20k. This is for large, wood clearing operations that process firewood year around. Otherwise, you'd never get you money back out of it. Then you have to have some kind of truck to load the logs, transport for the split wood, saw blades with a sharpening machine, etc.
love to watch it do a run on some Oak
I believe it's to remove overly small rather useless pieces that could otherwise be sold as kindling. It also helps to remove loose incomplete splits. Probably gets some deburring action that keeps the edges smoother for working.
My point is that exactly. The output rate of these machines is incredible. So quick in fact that they are chopping down and processing trees faster than they can be planted and grown, causing a declining rate of this resource. It's simple economics really. As supply decreases, and demand remains stagnant or increases, prices increase. Not to mention the stigmatic effects on the ecosystem. People won't change until they are forced to. It's like an understood law of humanity. C'est la vie.
Maybe in your coutry like that. In Finland, by the law, new trees must be planted after cutting down the trees.
That's a badass machine
@MadGunnerMan I can't say for sure, but it looks to me the tumbling bin is there to separate kindling from the proper firewood. I often see small net bags of kindling for sale in petrol stations etc. They're separating all the products, sawdust, kindling, firewood.
Every home owner should get one!!!
Now that is a machine!
excellent looks like a video from how its made!
superb design..
Reminds me of how hard was for me to split fire wood with an ax when i was a child.
looks like one of those play dough toys when it splits the logs. pretty bad ass machine though
@LEHIGHDRIVE I have used them. It is very real. The only thing this had even a small amount of trouble with was Osage Orange. And even with that, this machine handled it beautifully.
Fantastic machine:)
That's hipnotizing :]
Cool machine! I want one!
i want, even the log splitter part alone would be gold, i think im gonna modify my log splitter now lol
@MadGunnerMan
My guess is it removes bark and possibly jagged pieces that can happen when you split.
I love the cRuNcH sound!
this thing is really incredible...:)
Imagine putting your hand in front of the log at 1:55... Safe to say your piano playing days would be over! :)
wish I had one of those in the dense post oak woods I live in!
everyone needs one of those wonder how much work it is to keep it running and maintanance
Great machine, we could do with one for logs at home.
it is cool when he adds the attchment
best random video ever!
WOW very nice.
nice! Easy and safety.
wow,,,what a machine!!
Now THAT'S Innovation!
I see it is a easy job on the birch and poplar trees, how about oak and maple and other hardwoods.. or even that stringy wood like willow ?
