- Bihar Floor Test: Bihar CM Nitish Kumar while delivering his speech during Bihar floor test, accused RJD of ‘corruption’. Nitish Kumar added that he tried to bring all leaders together but it was of no use. Nitish Kumar added that he will get an enquiry done and figure out where the ‘money’ is coming.

It is very sad for the country like nitis kumar.
In this country there is 50% reservation. Only 10 % is based on financial status and rest is all cast based. People in OBC, Muslim category has been enjoying reservations generations after generations. The purpose of reservation was to give a family assistance to stand on their own feet, have capacity to educate their children. Now since you have the capacity to educate your children, you should pass on the reservation to other families who has not received it. Take data on how the same families generations after generations are benefitting from reservations on the cost of others and why the benefits of reservations not reaching all. Increasing reservations more than 50% is not justice towards general category as they also have right to equality based on merit. If reservations are made completely financial based then that is a solution or atleaset do not give reservations to more than 2 generations on a family and after that switch them to financial based reservation. With caste census what will you achieve? you cannot increase reservation more than 50%. Yes one thing will happen - country will realize that Muslims are no more a minority, at least in many states and they are no more eligible for caste based reservation. Also the purpose of reservation is to give basic livelihood and give a weightage based on some criteria. Is it appropriate to extend reservation to give promotions in job as well? Why reservation is allowed for some areas where merit is very much required? DO you allow a 12th failed or MMBS failed but made pass due to reservation to do surgery on you??? DO you want such incapable people brought in to leading scientific fields and sit there with no output and eat peoples money? So reservation has to be capped to government jobs in selected sectors only and till selected grade after which it should be meritocracy. From Independence the reservation system has inverted the social, economic conditions in the country. Now many of the upper caste and only name sake upper caste and financially they are struggling to earn a livelihood . For 2024 election Congress has only caste census as a topic against the government and no other real issue they have and here to Congress wanted to create a caste based divide on votes , Congress is the culprit to create and maintain caste based divide since independence. They don't want to solve any real reservation problem. Ambedkar said caste based reservations should continue only for 10 years and this is not a provision for ever. In USA, the blacks in unanimous decision rejected reservations for them and they said they only wanted to be treated equally and dont need any special treatment. They very self confident, Swabhimaan people. If you are courageous, bold, to uphold dharma then you should reject reservations based on caste. Atleast those people who are financially very sound, enjoyed reservations for many generations of their family do you have courage to abandon reservations for your children??? and give opportunity to other OBC, Adivasis ???

People want to preserve their culture, language, traditions, food etc and they don'[t want to engage in family relationships with people of different culture or belief systems whether you call it different cast or religion. There could be multiple reasons. This is going to stay in the society. You can see this across religions and different sects with in Muslims, Christians and Hindus. Reservations will not change it. What we need is equality in society and equal opportunity in work place for everyone, respect the work they do in society. To bring this we have to give reservations to those who has no means to uplift themselves which means dont allow same people and family again and again to exploit reservations in the cost of others. Until you fix this loop hole, this reservation system is not going to solve anything and you cannot keep doing it for ever. The current system has been tested for 75 years since independence and its time to rethink the approach. There are poor and deserving people across casts and religions
