Great video man! But I need some help with mics if that’s okay. I’m stuck on whether to get the - Elgato Wave 3, Podmic USB, Sennheiser Profile, BEACN Mic, or just a Fifine AM8? Budget is sub £250 ($300 ish I guess?) Revamping whole setup, moving from a Razer Blackshark V2, so that includes £60 Elgato LP mic arm and £60 Sennheiser 599 Headset. Will be using them in a noisy room with a tv usually on in the background. This is most important, and had me wondering whether a gaming headset is better, or if independent mics can still do a good job of isolating voice. Many thanks
Surprised the Sennheiser Profile wasn't on this list alongside the Rode NT-USB+, should've been in the intermediate section in place of the Blue Yeti X IMO
This video was informative, but the video was VERY distracting. For clarity - the cut to the SECOND camera is very distracting visually. It's jarring and the QUALITY is much lower. Seems as if the second camera is a smart phone. The FIRST head on camera is PERFECT. No need to cut to an inferior video that distracts.
*Samson Q2U Q9U. Rode NT1-5th Gen. Shure MV7 USB XLR. Sennheiser Profile USB with Discreet Boom Stand Looks Like the Best Value For Money(Not XLR) Low Profile Mic with all the Needed Physical Controls and Mute Button Available on Mic with No Need for Depending on Software. Deity VO7U little too costly&USB only👍🏼🙏🏼
Funny... of all the mics you gave a demo, the one you used for this video was way better. Which mic did you use for this video? this is a certified hood classic.
7:50 WARNING! SUPER LOUD TECHNO MUSIC. I had to turn the volume down to 2 for that to be normal, but voice was a whisper. Please don't do this to the viewers. if you add such stuff, make sure to adjust the volume in the video editing software to be at reasonable level. Not blasting peoples ears. So if listening at higher volume it's way too high volume, possibly cause hearing damage.
I'm on you channel first time, but the watching it was a hard time, jumping out of focus, rapid change of frame mixed with really beautiful shots of equipment. Appreciated the content of the video but not enjoyed watching it. I can see you are an audio experts.
Its fine. (Its only costs 99 sometimes) I once complained about a youtubers sound and I found out that hes using his headset mic. Than I asked a guy who had a good sound and he is using a yeti x. Best sounding usb mics are the samson g track pro and now of course the nt 1 5th. (I dont think you will find a better one until neuman is producing one but its overkill for a lot of people.)

Blue Yeti X ? Are you serious ?

The Samson sounds Horribly bad
Its better than the most laptop mics and it costs only around 30.
