Just recently sold my RC Speeder bike along with a big chunk of my collection. I had the Scout Trooper version. Got it for Christmas one year but unfortunately it never worked. :( We tried three different sets of batteries. Don't know if it was something wrong with the controller or the bike itself, but it would never power on so it just ended up sitting in the closet for decades. As for the cinema packs, I always liked them. The quality of the figures doesn't really hold up to the modern figures anymore, but several of them have never really had an updated version released so if you want the character they're your only option. They display really nicely though. I kept most of mine sealed but did eventually open the Cantina, droid purchase and skiff guard sets for displays I was setting up. Thinking of opening the Death Star showdown one to get that throne. I had completely forgotten that it had an actual throne accessory in it. I guess my mind always just thought it was cardboard or something.
Sorry to hear about your speeder bike not working. I sometimes wonder if mine would work after twenty years of being packaged. I think it would be fun seeing some of your displays.
@@utbmystarwarscollection It might work still! I have that 90s Darth Vader electronic bank and it still worked in the package, with the same batteries, just a month ago when I tried it. As for displays, I don't have anything too impressive or fancy! Just not a lot of room, unfortunately!
I've seen some of the 3 packs at some of my local flea markets or online. I really want the set with Uncle Owen because I have Aunt Beru but no Uncle Owen to go with her and I really want that pilot set just for my boi Wedge.
@@utbmystarwarscollection the ones at the flea market were $15 and the one I saw online was $15. So about $5 a figure. That's about how much the Power of the Force figures go for.
Nice video. I don’t tend to buy the older figures, however I love to see the older figures all boxed up. Looks great.
I think they did a better job packaging the old figures, in most cases.
