As a lifelong kid from Boston and a fan I hate New York especially when they won a championship the especially the Yankees in the 90s but I always will have a sweet spot for the 94 Rangers thanks to them my next door neighbor Brian Noonan who is on the team got to bring home the Stanley Cup my Hometown South Boston Massachusetts and we had an all-day special it was great right out my font of my building I got to kiss it touch it and take pictures with it I'll never forget that
My earliest memories as a child are watching Rangers games with my dad as. 4 year old. That was 1970. I watched the Boston Bruins beat the Rangers in 6 games in 1972. Then I watched the Montreal Canadiens beat the Rangers in 5 games in 1979. The Loss to the Pittsburgh Penguins in 1992 was devastating. I f said to myself after that loss, the Rangers will never win a cup. Winning the 1994 Stanley Cup was one of the most surreal feelings I have ever experienced. I was 28 years old then, with my whole life ahead of me. I’m 56 years old now and watching this brought tears to my eyes. All those emotions came back and I will always cherish this Stanly Cup.
The only time the Islanders won a Stanley Cup is quite revered, their dynasty is the only time they went to the Stanley Cup Finals and won a Stanley Cup.

It likely would have been more than one Stanley Cup for Keenan, of course So much more than a one year stint. But Mike was astonished, and captivated by the bright lights of Broadway rather than returning home to Philly, whare he had So much success and make Eric Lindros the great player and Superstar he could been. Keenans Career suffered because of it.
Being an original team and only winning 4 championships I as a Rangers fan still think that they are cursed. It’s just mind boggling how they don’t win more than you have these brand new teams winning and winning. Let’s go Rangers win it this year.
I live near West Haven CT and there’s this giant 20 foot tall Stanley cup behind a factory on a road I often drive through. It’s been there for a decade and I’ve always wondered if it was used at a parade in New York after we won.

Canucks were an extremely underrated team that year, when they got Courtnall, Brown, Momesso and Ronning to compliment Bure, Linden and McLean, that team was the real deal. Rangers were just too good in the end, but their cockiness was almost their undoing. Best series of all time!
my mom's brother ran a photo store and guy came in the day of Game 7 with a MSG press pass for the game and asked him to make a copy, so he made a copy & two extra for himself and my dad. they got split up and just tried to pretend they were supposed to be there/were wandering around until someone told them where the press elevator was. they got to witness Game 7 & the Rangers finally win the Cup from press area for free lol RIP my dad let's go Rangers 2022 is gonna be the year
