Music similar to this has been produced since the 80s. Modulars, especially back then, were ridiculously expensive and something only institutions like universities and the BBC could afford. Eventually companies began producing more affordable mono and poly synths which are still popular and collectors items today. These tracks have a lot of sounds from Roland Junos, Moogs, and Oberheims. Folks just use whatever they can afford and find at secondhand shops. These days I'd guess that most producers use soft synths with a few modern analogue synths. Soft synths are very powerful, flexible, cheap, and take up no space. That said, there's nothing like twisting chunky knobs and sweeping rumbling bass patches.
Yeah after digging seems to be a lot of Roland, Korg and Prophet. Still gotta tune my ears and learn all the old synths. At least I can recognize a mini moog now! I was reading about the synth they used on the Other Place album and it was like a miniature version of a euro rack Behringer D or something pretty interesting

What’s synths are they using typically on synths on this channel? New to electro production. A lot of stuff on this channel sounds modular 🤔

Classic electro synths include: Roland SH-101, Sequential prophet-1, Roland alpha juno 1, Korg mono/poly.
