Today in the salon my client is getting a full install of tape-ins. Her natural hair is on the thinner side but it is possible to install tape-ins. However i took bigger slices to ensure she doesn’t have any damage or cause extra thinning.
Hair extensions details:
Hair Luxury Tape-ins (Provided by me)
3 packs of 18in natural color extensions. She has a total of 175 grams installed.
This service took me 3 hours to complete including the wash and deep conditioning treatment.

Would have loved to see it in a bun/pony. It's important to us fine haired woman because we long for a full pony look or a good messy bun but lack the fullness for them 💛😊 # beautiful work

Her natural hair is beautiful. Good to know there a way low density hair types can wear this.

How long do the tape ins last?

Yes she can wear up in a high bun and ponytail.
How many did you use in total
How many pieces of extensions did it take for her head? Asking because I have kind of thin hair and a small head too
I used a total of about 25-30 sandwiches
How many tapes did you use in total? Like once they were sandwiched?
2 tapes and your hair sandwiched between
I used a total of 35-40 sandwiches. I opened up 4 packs however I didn’t use all the hair. In grams 175-200g

Her hair is thin. Are the tape ins gonna make her hair thinner.
No they won’t effect her density. I just used the same amount in between each tape that would use on someone who has a thicker density. Plus she comes for regular maintenance!!
Conditioner before tape ins i thought was a no no
I definitely do condition before tape ins especially because once the extensions are installed it’s going to be a while before you can condition from root to end.
