i recommend ping,sit rep,off the grid, wiretap, takedown,focus, amplify and ready up for shot guns as well as the ones mentioned in the video for rushing gambler is also nice to have

I have created a beastly good shotgun - can't remember the name but it's the one with the revolving chamber - and it works mid range as well as 1 shot up close.

Dam you nero, every time I switch off my xbox for the night I watch your vids then get super motivated to get back on it ha ha ha. Cant wait to give this set up a try, I normally use the fp6 for its range
The FP6 does 100 damage per pellet out to 2 meters. Then it starts to drop extremely sharply. IMO, the Tac-12 dominates it at all ranges.
Nero I put this class on and I absolutely dominated thank you so much
I changed out the pistol for ready up...it helped a lot.
RUFF SACK I could understand no ready up if you didn't die within a fraction of a nanosecond in this game but considering that you do I find that you really REALLY need ready up on shotguns unless your making a stealth class. Being able to shoot almost instantly after sprinting (which you do a lot with shotguns) is definitely worth that one perk point.
Last comment. Run Hardline instead of marathon because marathon gets you comfortable sprinting everywhere which more often than not gets you killed. Run SAT COM and IMS and whatever 3rd streak or no 3rd streak. You almost always go on 4 streaks with this gun especially on Tremor, so you can have pretty much a constant minimap to see enemies and have a few IMS's covering your back and murdering everyone. Finally, the M9A1 is a better pistol for this class for 2 reasons. 1: straight out better range, and 2: better Iron sights. This pistol will truly allow you to get longer range picks when your shotty is out of it's element.

I really like using the FP6 with grip and muzzle brake but the rest of the class is pretty much the same
think 2 stuns and recon minus side arm if in s&d and pick up a weapon of the first you kill
Kyle valle Exactly! toss a stun frag to see whos where. When you do that you might find a couple guys waiting for you that you didnt expect.
Very close to my personal setup, i just drop the pistol, and equip ready up, and ICU instead of Dead Silence. Since you're already so strong in close quarters and move so fast i don't find Dead Silence that beneficial.
Btw, i use that perk setup on all of my Shottys

Why dont u use the focus perk? I know that u dont aim down sights with a shotgun so the reduce gun swaying part is useless but when ur getting shot it reduce the flinching so wouldnt that be use full... just saying?
even the reduce flinch benefit is useless because when getting shot at with a shotty, your either in close enough range that it doesn't matter, or your not and you die anyway.

Ready up+on the go instead of dead silence or soh
A better setup (tested) would be actually switching out dead silence for ready up and either gambler or a lethal equipment. Since clearly this class is not made for being quiet, it is meant for getting in peoples faces, running straight into them, ready up is essential whereas dead silence doesn't help when you are spamming the bulldog and lighting up on the radar almost permanently...
In my game i had a:
Assult rifle class
Smg class
Shotgun class
Marksman class
Sniper class
Ligth machine gun class
I use shotguns mostly on close range maps but when its stone haven its just not exseptible its to hard unless you plant the bomb at a in search and rescue or destroy that's my opion
instead of dead silence i'd use focus
Just went 28-12 in my first game with this class. Works like a charm!

i absolutely hate shot guns in ghosts but something that works for me is
Tac 12 w/ a muzzle brake, slug rounds, and holographic sight its great for range and good for damage usual one shot kill but its not a smg range but close

then i did specialist w/
dead silence and focus
then 8 bonus perks are
on the go
takedown
scavenger
amplify
icu
its realy good worth a try for people who want a good range damage shotgun
Can we take of the pistol then put focus?
I highly recommend using the pistol, but its your choice whether or not to use it.

Yes I dont agree the tac 12 is better with these Parts it can 1 shot with these parts and its quick reload with holographic sight.muzzle break.slug round dont listen to him but its GUD tho

They aren't
They really aren't, but I've found the most success with the Bulldog.

Nero why use dead silence with a very loud shotgun. People will know where you are when you shoot and then come for you.

Honestly this set up isnt very good :/ agility and marathon as well as steady aim are good to be there, but as a shotgun you want full control of close areas and you want to be 100% mobile, so you want to put on rescilience, and why no ready up? Its a must for ANY shotgun build as it lets you recover To hipfiring position or to an ADS quicker after sprinting , allowing you to have the speed edge on others. id also take scavenger or fully loaded because the bulldog eats ammo like no other.
Ammo has never been an issue for me, especially with the extra ammo extended mags gives you. Ready up is NOT needed, because if you are aiming with the Bulldog, he is out of your range and you're wasting precious milliseconds when you could already have him dead from hipfire. As for no fall damage, not needed. You aren't jumping in and out of 2 story windows, you're walking into rooms, clearing them, and running away
