Aha Sherlock Holmes stories. Superb. My age is 65 years old lady and I studied in saradha college Salem. In PUC we had nondetailed stories " The selected stories of Sherlock Holmes " very good detective novels. Among that the pawn broker and the greek interpreter are super stories. JFYI - it’s Watson. Even though in Tamil it’s written as வாட்சன். There is no letter for sa in Tamil. We use ச for sa too.
Since you are trying to read Tamil version of English novel, it’s good to appreciate other people’s languages by reading appropriately with right pronunciation. If people who don’t have e Tamil as mother tongue pronounce our language weirdly and that too constantly won’t we feel bad? Of course those people are not exposed to our language compared us who are exposed to English well. But still we are very good screwing even our own mother tongue.
