I guess it is that she doesn't have that many natural combos (multiple hit moves that can't be interrupted). And imo she is limited in juggling. Her juggle damage is imo low. She does have some good tools like the counter, d3+4, f2, falling rain, 1,3, ss2, uf2, d2 and db3
I have no idea why everyones tier list has Asuka so close to the bottom. I mean, im no competitive player. But just by a casual players observation, she looks awesome. Her combos come out fast. Her combos mix up highs mids and lows very quickly and unpredictably. Her dash is pretty fast. All of her moves have good forward momentum which is good for starting wall splats. She has an attack reversal. Can somone who plays this game competitvely explain to me why Asuka is so low on the tier list?

Asuka and Jun have similar movesets, because Asuka Learned some of the moves when she was younger, and developed others as she got older.

She's not very fast overall, especially with her strings. She's best played defensively with a lot of punishing, really.
