I think it's really funny how he made a Kendrick song ranking and then MMTBS came out immediately after lol. I'd love to see more album reviews, or any other reviews in general!
I love, love, love Crown 👑! I wished more people gave it a chance.. Yes, it’s slow and sounds like it’s dragging but to me it forces you to focus on the lyrics coupled the instrumental. Usually we are moved by the beat or tempo of a song and then the lyrics.. I don’t agree with your ranking but again, it’s your opinion.. ✅
Finally some love for crown! In my opinion it’s definitely not the best song in the whole album, but it definitely is not as bad as so many people label it to be. I wholeheartedly agree on what you’re saying about its pacing forcing you to pay attention to the lyrics. This is one of the few songs that I can’t just tone out while listening to it; its lyrics are so compelling and call for self reflection as well (that’s at least the personal experience I’ve had with it)
No, he is not going in order. @ 8:30 he shows his ranked list. You will see that Silent hill is #7 on his list. It’s his opinion but there’s no way Mother I Sober is ranked at the bottom of the list to the masses…lost all credibility with that one
It's his opinion but when I saw that ranking, my jaw nearly fell off. Mother I Sober should be at the top somewhere, not the bottom?? He did say his personal ranking could change within time like but damn.
This is my fav Kendrick album because it’s the one time that I can relate to every single major theme on the album. I’m a white kid who lives in a rich neighborhood and while I am still poor, I am def not in a position to relate to a lot of his music. But on Mr Morale and the Big Steppers, I can actually relate to a lot of the themes.
Father Time is perfect, mother I sober is perfect, if the heart part 5 was on the album I’d give it a perfect, that’s rare to see that many perfect songs. Top 3 kendrick imo
mr morale is the perfect album to follow damn with in the narrative of his entire discography. damn is his reaction to the fact tpab couldn't change anything for his people, and mr morale is him taking a step back from that and realizing he needs to change himself before he tries to change anything else
When I first listened to this album I thought maybe this would be my fav but it has some songs I don’t really like on it but it’s still a modern masterpiece like basically every other Kendrick album
Yoooo I like your review, if gives me a perspective of a person who hasn't gone through it. And how someone perceives his music. Great opinion and video.
in my opinion, I don't think Kendrick Lamar has made a single bad song, even the songs I kind of hate, it's never Kendrick's singing or rapping, and even objectively, they aren't bad.
All of lil Wayne, but his unreleased stuff too. Like all the dedications and no ceilings and sorry for the waits, so many bangers sad he’s not on your pyramid thing anywhere
CROWN gets so much hate on this album and it's literally my favorite song on the album. It speaks so much to the person in the family whose trying to break out from the Generational Trauma many families experience and are trying to use KINDNESS and LOVE to heal familial wounds but Ultimately gets taken advantage of. Kindness is a strength but the con to kindness is that people don't respect your boundaries. The chorus " i cant please everybody" is not subliminal, it's blunt and to the point. It needs no further dissection as it is saying exactly what it means. Crown is the hidden gem of the album and spoke to my soul lol!
hot take: mother i sober is a top 5 oat kendrick song (and i’m glad that drake’s terribly wrong interpretation of the song has led more people to discover it and appreciate this album)
It’s on the Spotify version of the album, and it was put there deliberately and other songs from Kendrick albums were released prior to the actual album, however you are right for the wrong reason, The Heart Part 5 is not considered part of the album because it is not on the official vinyl.
More people should talk about Mr.Morale, its kind of underrated compared to his other albums
Bro it’s like a month old, don’t call it underrated when the other albums have been settled for years
@billy the puppet master
On god
it’s not underrated it’s just not what people expected from kendrick
*He Says With Untitled Remastered and Section 80 Standing In A Corner
Album was a damn ashtray/coaster
I think it's really funny how he made a Kendrick song ranking and then MMTBS came out immediately after lol. I'd love to see more album reviews, or any other reviews in general!
United in Grief is incredible, definitely one of my favorite Kendrick songs
Crown is honestly one of, if not my favorite song off the album
That we cry together thing was funny as hell 💀
as someone who laughs easily, hearing this part in public was so so hard
That last part was NOT NECESSARY BRO 😭✋
I love, love, love Crown 👑!

Mother I Sober at 16 🤦🏽♂️ Probably the most powerful song Kendrick has ever made next to Sing About Me.
bro he’s just going in the order of the album

@@quintinjohnson6760 credibility? there's nothing to be credible for the whole video is his opinion 💀
@@quintinjohnson6760 it’s his opinion you melt
It's his opinion but when I saw that ranking, my jaw nearly fell off. Mother I Sober should be at the top somewhere, not the bottom??
He did say his personal ranking could change within time like but damn.
Kendrick is one of few artists that I have to listen to so many of his songs multiple times to decide whether I like it or I love it
The Heart Part 5, Count Me Out and Mother I Sober, lyrically, are incredible.
This is my fav Kendrick album because it’s the one time that I can relate to every single major theme on the album. I’m a white kid who lives in a rich neighborhood and while I am still poor, I am def not in a position to relate to a lot of his music. I liked this video, great review and explanation!
AND I CAN'T WAIT ANY LONGER FOR THE TYLER VIDEO I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR SO LONG IT'S BEEN 1855 DAYS
mr morale is the perfect album to follow damn with in the narrative of his entire discography.
damn is his reaction to the fact tpab couldn't change anything for his people, and mr morale is him taking a step back from that and realizing he needs to change himself before he tries to change anything else

OMG I thought I was the only soul listening to worldwide steppers, absolutely underrated track and one of my favorites of this album
When I first listened to this album I thought maybe this would be my fav but it has some songs I don’t really like on it but it’s still a modern masterpiece like basically every other Kendrick album
I don’t think I’ll ever recover from the Tyler rankings but you’ve redeemed yourself by saying Father Time is your favourite

The album is going to age brilliantly, although not as well as GKMC and TBAP.

Die hard is so relatable I love it
All of lil Wayne, but his unreleased stuff too. Like all the dedications and no ceilings and sorry for the waits, so many bangers sad he’s not on your pyramid thing anywhere
Lil Wayne needs to be next to Kendrick and Kanye, so many hilarious lyrics, and great word play, truly on another level.
Where would you include "The Heart Part 5" in this list?
CROWN gets so much hate on this album and it's literally my favorite song on the album. Where is The Heart Part 5?
It's not really apart of the album, it was released 5 days prior
It’s on the Spotify version of the album, and it was put there deliberately and other songs from Kendrick albums were released prior to the actual album, however you are right for the wrong reason, The Heart Part 5 is not considered part of the album because it is not on the official vinyl.
Its a bonus track. it doesn't need to be included.
