  • Join us for our Erev Shabbat service, where we will be going through the weekly teachings from Monte Judah. This portion tells us the story of Phinehas (Pinchas), the grandson of Aaron, when he took direct action against an Israelite who had joined with a Midianite woman. As background, Baalam was unsuccessful in cursing Israel, so we learn from Numbers 31:16 that he counseled the Midianites to send their sons and daughters to the Israelites to have them join together, leading them astray from Moses’ teaching. God had begun to judge Israel with a plague, just as Baalam had said, but Phinehas’ action stopped the whole process and brought deliverance to Israel. The remainder of this portion addresses the final census of Israel and Moses receiving instruction on how the Land is to be divided by lottery among the tribes and families of Israel. Significantly, Moses empowers Joshua to succeed him and lead the people into the Land of Israel. The portion concludes with a detailed list of the daily offerings, and the additional offerings brought on Sabbath and festival times.
    Scripture Readings: Numbers 25:10-(30:1)29:40, I Kings 18:46-19:21, John 2:13-25

You realize that those using the "Zadok" Calendar observed Passover this year, NOWHERE near a Full moon?
And according to this calendar, the Messiah would have been in the tomb for FIVE days?
      I would pray about it...

    Shabbat shalom🎉🎉🎉
    Gods punishments are NO JOKE!
Despite all that we humans put him through he still loves us and gave his son as the Passover lamb for us to have a chance to avoid his wrath.

I remember the days at the beginning of this 'messi movement' when believers would embrace whatever teachers taught, hook line, and sinker. I am grateful to Abba Father that today there is enough information out there, principally Scripture, to lead us into a better understanding of the calendar. All I know is that it couldn't possibly be the Zadok calendar. It is an invention.
Still, I wholeheartedly believe Monte is a brother. We must all be persuaded in our own conscience, so if Zadok is where some are led, that's between the believer and The Most High

Those following the "Zadok" Calendar this year actually entered into quite a conundrum...
According to Leviticus 23:5 and 6 - 5The Passover to the LORD begins at twilight on the fourteenth day of the first month. 6On the fifteenth day of the same month begins the Feast of Unleavened Bread to the LORD. For seven days you must eat unleavened bread.
The FIRST Day of the month begins with the New Moon...
By the 14th of the month, there is a FULL Moon...
Those using the "Zadok" Calendar were nowhere near having a Full moon for Passover this year...
Also, if one calculates the time period the Messiah was put into the tomb...
It is FIVE days according to the "Zadok" Calendar...
I ask for Scriptures that support it...
      CRICKETS...
No one wants to address these things...
All I get is listen to this teaching or that teaching...

The question I would have about the calendar is which calendar was used when Jesus fulfilled the spring feasts? We know he died at Passover, he rose on the feast of First Fruits, and the Holy Spirit came when the day o Pentecost was fully come. Jesus, who is our perfect example and did not come to destroy the law and the prophets but to fulfill them certainly would not have fulfilled the feasts according to a mixed calendar or calendar he had not established.

      Thats an excellent point!
Do you remember how there was a Solar eclipse during the time of Yeshua's crucifixion? (Matthew 27:45) There are not that many solar eclipses over Jerusalem. If you could find one over Jerusalem between 0029-0035 AD and it was in the spring, that would give you a hard date on any calendar of the day before Passover. Or the 14th day of the first month. NASA supposedly has all of these dates cataloged. The closest one that i have found is 28 APR 0032. Nothing else matches within the parameters. That date doesnt fit any calendar. Zadok or Hillel 2.
I haven't researched this extensively and this isn't definitive. I personally think this would be a good scientific method to prove a calendar. Maybe we are all wrong?
The 03 APR 0033 eclipse is a Lunar eclipse. There is a lot of misinformation about this out there. Lunar eclipses do not block light from the sun on the earth.

Mr. Judah, is it possible that we should be on a lunisolar calendar? Using those wonders that the Creator created for times and seasons....both the sun and moon. If He never changes and is the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow, would he also not continue to use His tools of discerning times? Just as He has given two houses that will be rejoined in the latter days, He has given us two sources (actually three, if you count the stars - two to three witnesses) to mark seasons, days, and years. Also, a lunisolar calendar (I believe Jullian was), was in effect when Yeshua was living. Did He ever claim or teach to have a problem with that? I truly do not know. Please understand, I am not being argumentative. Your teachings have enriched my life and understanding of Yah's Word. It is just this particular case where there is a bit of uneasiness. Blessings to you!

    So...
This "False calendar" the priests were using...
    1. Was the one used while Yeshua walked the earth...
    2. Was never addressed by Yeshua as being incorrect...
    3. And was the one that determined the fact He was crucified on Passover...
Using the "Correct" calendar would have put Messiah in the tomb for FIVE days...
I thought it was the Anti-Christ who changed the Times and the Laws, not the priests...
Yah's Word tells us that He uses the Sun, the Moon and the Stars for Times and Seasons...
Did He allow the priests to change this to "Start you new year on a Wednesday"?
    I have questions...
No one wants to answer them...
I feel like I'm back in Sunday Church again...
    Sorry Monte...
    I stopped at 21:06...

Thank you. Don't appreciate the Aaronic blessing in this format. What was the dispute with John the Baptist and the Essenes. Could use more understanding about this. Thank you again for your consideration of this matter.
