Every person on here complaining about Jacky must HATE the Clark Sound because this is how she has ALWAYS sung. Like it or not, her voice completes their sound.

Right who ever was doing the audio mixing was doing a less than stellar job. As a singer and artist myself a simple inadequancy in sound can cause you to miss cues and it's not fun.
This appearance was months ago that was for some reason just now uploaded in the past week. Since this time, the Sisters have made other notable concert appearances at the McDonald's holiday fest and Kennedy Center Handel's Messiah celebration among others. They are all vocally in tact, this was just one off appearance. So some of you can pipe down.

I know we’re all here to watch a “great Clark Sisters performance” but I guess this was one of their “off days!” 🤷🏽♀️ I’m just gonna put that on a missed ‘sound check’ or the the sound guy because I’ve never seen them this off before. However, they are “The Clark Sisters” keeping it professional they soldiered on through. Plus, they are older now so of course their performances aren’t going to always be as good as the earlier days. However I must say that: they are still looking good to be their ages and carrying it well!!!! 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

What are people complaining about? They are all on pitch and sanging as they always do! The problem is that their mics are not equally leveled, that includes their background singers. Other than that, THEY SOUND GREAT!
Listen to 5:40. Since those mics are off, you can hear all the off notes. It happens. Everybody can be off sometimes. The sound is off but so is Jacky. Love her but off notes hurt the ear and the sound. It's ok. None perfect but the father. Still love them.

The first song sounds like they were singing at a lower key than usual. The second song Jacky tenor should have been higher due to Twinkie missing vocal. Wow! First time hearing them sing like this. Twinkle seems to be so tired. (for years) And it seems her spirit is worn and wounded. She doesn't have that lively, joyous countenance. She seems to be so heavy in her spirit. I don't know if it is depression or oppression. The Most High kept her here for a reason. I pray for her healing.

To everyone that says that they sound bad because of age, that’s definitely not the case. 🤷🏾♂️I’m going to be honest, in Twinkie’s prime she didn’t take care of her voice, and she also had medical issues So now her voice sits comfortably when she sings tenor/ bass. Jackie is like the glue, she kinda holds the group together with tenor part (When she isn’t on alto) but on this performance her mic was a tab bit too loud. Karen and Dorinda can always hold their own. Though the preaching took a toll on Dorindas voice she’s still at par with Karen. This was just a mess caused by the sound tech. These ladies will forever sound great
Latavious Garrison it's not the age its not the taking care of there voices. It was the sound period. True you should take care of your voice. But these ladies been singing for 45 years. Its people that been singing 5 years less and have problem singing cause not talking care of there voices. Lol C'mon Sound Guy!! They butchered "Livin" lol and no one else's mic was loud enough except for Karen and Jackie's. Jackie's mic being too loud made Blessed and Highly Favored sound Awful lol. I couldn't even hear their background singers. Then on You Brought the Sunshine, everyone's mic was too loud lol can't win at all. Still love these women though
I don't know why the sound guys left the "clap" on during Living, whilst there was a whole drummer with the snare. It was so overbearing wowwww. It was at this moment I know it was just gonna be long. Sound tech/engineer is at fault completely for this whole thing I'm sorry. Love all the Clark Sisters tho!

To everyone that says that they sound bad because of age, that’s definitely not the case. 🤷🏾♂️I’m going to be honest, in Twinkie’s prime she didn’t take care of her voice, and she also had medical issues So now her voice sits comfortably when she sings tenor/ bass. Jackie is like the glue, she kinda holds the group together with tenor part (When she isn’t on alto) but on this performance her mic was a tab bit too loud. Karen and Dorinda can always hold their own. Though the preaching took a toll on Dorindas voice she’s still at par with Karen. This was just a mess caused by the sound tech. These ladies will forever sound great
Latavious Garrison it's not the age its not the taking care of there voices. It was the sound period. True you should take care of your voice. But these ladies been singing for 45 years. Its people that been singing 5 years less and have problem singing cause not talking care of there voices. I went to school for Music and Yes they say Gospel music will destroy my vocal cords but it depends. The Sisters have so many recording live.. They all can sing
The sound man although did a horrible job, these wonderful woman of God are singing against a very loud band. I would be flat too, which is why Karen was trying to hear herself putting that finger over her ear. Lol!!!!

Doesn’t look like anyone has a earpiece on so I doubt it. It’s hard to hear over all those instruments and equipment as well as the rest of the sisters. And even if she did stopping in mid performance wasn’t an option.
