Refound you after gizfab videos , last time I watched was you doing roof of clio , I done the notifications bell now !been catching up all day! I was there watching yesterday and it was rather hot and very rushed through the day
Fantastic time Ilya, 5sec+ quicker is an awesome improvement in just a couple of yrs development. Some have 18more years of work and money invested in their cars and aren't much quicker👍🏻
Awesome job, well done... Car's going very well.. Keep it up... Be interesting to do a refresh vid on the spec of the engine... Suspension and brake setup... And plans going forward 👍👍
Was great to see this at oulton at weekend ! Big inspiration for to get my Vr6t mk3 golf lighter ! 😂 unfortunately didn’t get to see it in the pits Maybe next time !
Great video mate, cant wait to finally enter Time Attack myself, hopefully it will be Snetterton this year. You'll probably be able to make a "Fail Vid" of my attempts!
Congrats on a great and well deserved result. Car is absolutely rapid now. So glad to see the reliability gremlins all but gone too finally. Interested to see what you uncover around the cooling issues. Hopefully see that in an upcoming video?
yes i have thermostat (75deg low) with 5 holes drilled in it. what do you mean by slowing it down? its controled by ecu. do you mean reduce duty cycle at high tem? its set to 100% after 90 deg
@@RuskiWeldFab What i am saying is to leave the thermostat as a normal one. So the water in the radiator cools down more before entering the engine if you have drilled holes in the thermostat it may not be opening for a start i have seen this before when people have removed the thermostat and overheating occurs the electric water pump should only come on at the desired temp ie thermostat temp if that fails faster fans may be required one other thing is to vent the top of the radiator to the water fill canister with a small pipe and pressure test the system to check for head gasket leek.
This was a nicely edited video, a good balance of on track action and talking to camera.
glad you enjoyed!
Well done Buddy. I can do the fiddling to help make it work but ultimately you are the pilot. 🍻
I try. but you made it better handling for sure!
16:10 the invisible man did well to get 3rd 😂Congrats on 2nd, car looks to be a proper weapon now. Hope you solve the overheating issue.

Well done Ilya try slowing the water pump down leaving the water in the rad a little longer to cool down do you have a thermostat in it

Or you could get a cheap ebay sniff test to test for exhaust gas in the water.
@@RuskiWeldFab ok I thought you had just drilled some holes in the standard one.
Your rad is half the size of the Scooby...
That is looking pretty sorted now... No missed apex and should be quicker right?
sometimes its hard not to miss them
Awesome as always - some of the in car footage was in average quality but I'm sure your aware
yeah incar footage is only 1080p. or do you mean the shaking?
jimmer moment

How are you finding the mk3 EPAS compared to the mk2?
