How Dangerous Are Motorcycles?

There is risk in anything, motorcycles do have a higher risk level but it does come down to how you ride. I thought looking into exactly how and why motorcycle crashes happen could share a better light on the danger.

On public roads? 47 times higher fatality rate than automobile drivers here in Australia. Your BODY is the fender, roof, side doors, panels etc......... On a track day? WAY safer than driving an automobile on public roads and 1,000 times safer than riding on public roads.

Like i said it depends where you ride. But fatality rate doesn’t tell the whole story either
