  • For years I have been eyeballing different concrete mixers. Trying to convince myself it was worth it. I finally was able to justify purchasing one for myself! Only after spending hours researching and comparing prices. Even though it was less than $300. I treated it like buying a new car. That is just the way I have always been. I am not sure If I am just cheap or if I just want the best for the least amount of money.
Finally I decided on the Yardmax 5 cubic foot mixer from Walmart Online. It was by far the best deal I could find at the time. At only $289.99. For the price it was not only one of the biggest, but also the cheapest I could find. Even the big box home improvement stores were much higher. Even for the same mixer. Their comparable mixers were at least $100 more. For me it was a no brained. Hopefully I won’t regret the decision.
I read tons of reviews on different concert mixers. This one by far had the best reviews in its price range. To my surprise though. There were no review videos on it! Therefore I decided to do one myself. Hopefully helping others who were trying to make the same decision I was. I hope that you will find this video helpful to you. Thank you to all who have subscribed, watched, and commented! The channel is growing and I am super excited about it! I can’t wait for what’s next!

This mixer is absolutely amazing. I did in 3 weekends 140 80 lbs bags. Mixing 3 80lbs bags at the time I put a little more water than recommended. I bought it at Walmart. I highly recommended.

I just found this video. While a totally different name, there seems to be a lot of those styles around. But as usual, everyone orders their with their name on them. But they are all basically the same machine. Mine is called a Pro Force and has the exact same motor and gear case as yours. Good to know you were able to stuff three 80 pound bags in it. I got mine free, but I had to rebuild it because the circuit breaker in the motor assembly was toast. Corrosion caught up with it and it was broken too. So I disassembled everything and rebuilt it from the ground up. I have plans to use it to pour a solid concrete base to hold a large outside air compressor. My little inside compressor has begged me for a long long time to let it have a much needed rest now... Thumbs Up!

I believe the same company makes them for multiple suppliers. I have mixed 50-60 bags now and it’s still does great. Hope you get your project done. I need to give my small compressor a break as well! Thanks for watching and commenting!

Hi Fish hunt cook tinker ..I noticed you said how this had the best reviews ... But nowhere did you mention how much of a Warranty do they provide ...Would be nice to know , coz even if a machine is pretty good quality & a fair amount cheaper than all the others it can be more costly in the long run without a decent warranty.... I noticed a few of others had warrants as high as 3 years , & that could be the real deal if your mixer craps out after a year or 2...... This mixer sounds like one I'd be interested in getting even over the much cheaper Harbor Freight One , Because of a couple reasons ,
1.) The terrible assembly instruction manual with a ton of fasteners ...
2.) They almost all need tweaking to straighten the drum out so they don't make horrendous sound each revolution ...
3.) Even after tweaking they all seem to be excessively noisy in operation ...
Soooo , if this Mixer has any kind of a decent time warranty that would be enuff to convince me to go get one .... Thanks for sharing...👍👋👋

To be honest I never even thought about the warranty. When I ordered it you could buy a extended warranty. I personally never buy them. I have not had a lot of luck getting warranty work done in the past. For myself it just isn’t worth the aggravation. It definitely will be on my mind if I do anymore reviews though. So thank you and thank you for watching!

@@FishHuntCookTinker Good to know, I've been thinking about buying one too, and wanted to know what they would hold. 3 80lb bags is a lot. About all a guy wants to wheelbarrow. Thanks for the info

You are very welcome. It would probably hold more, but I haven’t tried it yet.
