Hello everyone, pro tip from a turkish person here. Thank you for the video, it has some great points. If you're planning to come to turkey I'd suggest choose regions and not try to do all at once. Turkey in general has so many attraction points and must-sees. It has a long rich history of different cultures and their effects on the area. For example the Mediterranean region (the Riviera?) has amazing beaches, camp sites, lots of nature activities (rafting/hiking/swimming etc). The Aegean region is more likely the same, slightly colder weather, closer to Greek culture and similar structures (as mentioned Ephesus). Pamukkale and Cappadocia are more in the center (totally different cities). On the Eastern Region you have Mount Nemrut and the statues on top of the mountains. The region is affected by so many cultures (Selcuk/Roma/Persia/Ottoman etc). Oh and amazing food(!). The Blacksea region has so many forests and tall trees and old monasteries and Turkish houses etc. My point is, overall Turkiye is a wonderful place to visit but you should plan your trip according to what you desire and get the full experience rather than hitting a few main spots. Thanks to everyone who managed to read this long comment 🎉 Feel free to ask any more questions 😅
Thank you! I am visiting from the U.S. next month. I am worried about bringing prescription medications with us that a family member needs to take. I read that this is not allowed to bring to Turkey. 😮
Turkey looks like paradise!❤
Really informative video! Thank you, can’t wait to visit!

Thank you for this! I’m curious to know how much you recommend traveling with in USD vs local currency?
The whole of turkey is an open greek museum! And turkey has an amazing cuisine.
Ottoman, Roman, Ottoman, Greek, Ottoman, Selcuk, Ottoman, Hittite, Ottoman, Hattite, Ottoman, Mongolian, Ottoman, Armenian Museum..
@@TR-ry3cn You forgot the ottoman past of turkey...
Came over from your Ariz channel to say hi 😎
Thats awesome! Thanks for coming over!
Very gorgeous place and the food looks amazing. My fear is the crowds and I'd be super pissed about the atm issue. Also sporting around a lot of cash not so good if you get jacked but that goes for anywhere on the planet.
Değerli yayıncı bu güzel tanıtımunızdan dolayı teşekkür ederiz. Aynı zamanda batıda yanlış bilinenin aksine, ülkemizin çok konuda batının önünde vede hayat standartının daha yüksek olduğunuda göstermiş oldunuz. Selamlar.
Wonderful!
Doing 3 weeks in Turkey this May! Great video, answered a lot of my questions. Did you visit any of the Greek islands off the West coast? cheers
So there are a few, Rhodes being the most popular. They do have boat tours that take you there. I would suggest doing them all at once if you can because each time you go from Turkey to Greece you have to process Immigration. So while in Greece do the Greek Islands and When in Turkey do the Turkey beach towns. But yes its worth it to plan for those islands.
the looks yummy
👍👍👍 💞
The sneakers and jewelry
😊😊
Fistashio kebab and beity kebab are the best , and for desert baked halva is the best. But those are not available everywhere
Can we do drone photography? Any permissions/license to be taken?
Hi there! After coming across your video, we’re planning on going to Turkey! Can you please share your route/itinerary? Thank you!
What is your name
I am currently Sir Applying gor my Turkey Visa planning to visit and celebrating my Birthday in Turkey. Tha k you for your video. It means a lot for a firts timer like me. Sir apple pay is accepted in Turkey???
tq fyi❤
It's interesting for him to say that is a safe place. The people there are religious, mainly Islam so crime rate is extremely low
Turkey is a multifaceted country. If you buy a package tour and spend the whole vacation in a hotel, you will never know her. Travel on your own, get deep into the country. And she will reveal to you her real authentic hospitality, culture and traditions.
You can get an airbnb or hostel for $20-30
Funny, I see all those displays in those stores in the bizarre and wonder , who puts all that stuff away at night? Lol 😆
They lock the whole Bazaar down, its inside of city market gates.
Great video. FYI, mispronounced Ephesus
F S US?
@@IslandHopperTVIt's Greek and it's F S OS.
Do they speak english?
Yesss! English is the second language in Turkey🇹🇷😊🙏
Actually the 2nd language is Kurdish. Especially if you travel to the eastern half of the country.
We like to think that we do. But not very much. Depending on the region we can find someone who speak English for you
Trains go all over Turkey, I have been on them, and they were not filled up. You make it seem like there is only one short route. And you pronounce so many things wrong, particularly Ephesus. And hotels? We paid way way less than you mentioned for amazing hotels, all including breakfast. All of our places were $50-$60 /night.
Any hotels you recommend at that price in Istanbul?
great! I hate Pork!
if youre a woman dress for the occasion. my friend was spit on by a man for wearing a crop top... i guess it depends on how religious the area you live in is.
My boyfriend lives there but doesn't care what I wear as long as I'm with him. He said I'm safe. So should I wear a T-shirt and jeans then?
@@elizabethbailey5731 shirt and jeans are good. i doubt they would mess with you when you're with a man. the current president is Muslim and trying to force everyone in the country to abide by his religion.
SLAVA UKRAİNE!
LET'S SUPPORT UKRAINE
Congratulations on mis pronouncing every single place you mentioned
Except for Rhodes 😆
Did I mispronounce Istanbul and Antalya?
You did OK for a yank, cool video 🤠
I can’t visit turkey I am a descendent of the Christian crusaders we have a bad history there
Ne alaka
@@bred714 Never mind, people who think this way should not come to my country, we cannot accept a person with a medieval mindset.
ahahahah tamam sen gelme 😂
Mispronounced nearly every place.
Boycott Turkey for their delay in Finland's and Sweden's NATO membership. Boycott holiday travel to and goods from Turkey.
For every week, Turkey has delayed Finland and Sweden's membership, boycott Turkey for one year. Turkey will continue to delay NATO membership applications.
Turkey is not a democracy, why support a country that is increasingly ruling against dictatorship.
With an inflation rate of close to 80%, Turkey will be extremely expensive. There are hundreds of options to choose from in Europe. Choose a democracy in a friendly country, instead of Turkey.
Choose Greece instead. wonderful beaches, friendly people and a friendly country. Other countries could be Portugal, Spain or Italy.
The wannabee dictator Erdogan, is nothing without tourism in Turkey. Boycott tourism and Erdoğan will disappear, in the next election this the fall.
Sen hayırdır PKK sevicisi sizi almıyoruz NATO’ya Çünki siz terör sevicisisiniz
You are so right, as a Turk, I agree. Erdogan is a dictator and there is nothing we can do. But the people are very kind people, and we are aware that we have this problem, we can't do anything, I hope Turkey will get better soon, this is our only hope.🇹🇷🙏
Greece is three times more expensive compared to Turkey. Finland and sweden is safe haven for the pkk terrorists. The elections will be held in 8 months and there will be true democracy.
There would be no problem if Finland and Sweden would not support the terrorist organization Pkk. But these countries support this terror organization. I ask you why do these countries support the PKK? How would these two countries feel about Turkey if Turkey supported a terrorist organization that had been terrorizing Finland and Sweden for 40 years?
Kazık nereni acıttıda bu yalanları uydurdun. Kendi kin ve nefretinde boğulacaksın. Biz arkadaşa para vermedik, gördüğünü anlatmış. Merak etme sizden çok daha demokratik ve gelişmişiz.
I wasn't planning on watching a food channel and I'm not a carnivore. Ramble on. Bye-bye.
