- It’s a bittersweet moving day for Manhattan family Anna and James Cockerville, who are packing up their two-bedroom apartment and heading to the suburbs with their two sons. They had been considering moving for some time, and then the pandemic hit. They say they will miss the city, but without much of what makes New York appealing - the people, culture, and places they enjoyed - it felt like a good time to get out of the city. They’re part of a growing trend of New Yorkers headed to the suburbs. #InsideEdition

I went to New York on a trip my 8th grade year with my class in 1996 and I fell in love I'm from LA. Hopefully when this covid calms down or gets controlled i would love to go again. I will never forget my experience. People were so nice and the city was beautiful.

Just bought a house in Connecticut too, a bike ride away from the beach in a coastal town in New Haven county near Yale university. Husband and I both New Yorkers, I work remote now so it doesn’t really make sense to purchase an overpriced house in the metro area like we originally planned. New York has really taken a turn for the worse, not safe anymore.
