like if i wanted to play r, but without the rather bad restrictions (like no pantheon, only 3 ascendancy upgrades, nerfed special encounters), i could play hc ssf without using vendor to buy skillgems. i dont like how easy accessible they are in normal mode. i wonder how many gems you find during gameplay and if the more useful ones are harder to find etc

It's a skill and game knowledge difference. Playing HC SSF and playing as a job basically means that the player is top 1%. Nothing more, nothing less. They know how to get ALL the value of ANYTHING they do, it's honestly incredible to see in action.
