Ok, so talk about those rushing numbers and still explain how a QB who leads the league in turnovers, is 7-6 for the 11th seed, is actually the MVP? This isn't even comical.
Go back to his 2020 takes of Allen, then see how he was wrong each & every week... only to continue that in 2021, 2022 and now 2023. Purdy is his new whipping boy, but Allen's his old school one.
@corey2232 that's because blind fans like you never can admit what Nick is actually saying. You - incorrectly - keep saying that Nick is wrong and hates Josh Allen. He is simply INCENSED that Josh Allen and the Bills are continually given the benefit of the doubt and special treatment that they HAVE NOT EARNED. Not only is Josh Allen protected by roughing the passer calls more than any other QB, but the NFL changed their overtime rules because of him. They also set an unbelievable precedent last year in not forcing the Bills to forfeit the Bengals game after they refused ALL options to play the game. They also set a crazy precedent by punishing Kansas City and potentially taking away the AFC Championship game and moving it to a neutral sight because of the Bills - even though the rules literally explain what to do if teams have different number of games played. He hasn't earned anything. And neither have the Bills.
@@Trevor5tone It makes him harder to defend. Also when he runs in a TD, it removes an opportunity to throw a TD pass that drive. You have to count his rushing stats.
@Trevor5tone ya but when the qb has 2 parts to his game why would you not include both that's what makes him special ffs. You literally sound like an idiot. Most qbs wish they could do what allen does and everyone would count there stats. Ppl don't want to could his rushing side because no other qb but Jackson can do that so he would crush everyone else
He's also one of the best QB's in the league as well. Not to mention all the other stuff he does. Overall a very likeable guy, class act, everything you want your franchise guy to be known for. Say the same thing with Dak. Both are having great years but Dak is having his best year since being in the league. I think he is the MVP this year but nothing wrong with having Allen, Lamar, and even Tyreek in the conversation.
Fun to watch doesn’t make Josh Allen MVP. That’s the argument. He’s been so MID that he’s disqualified himself from the MVP award this season. The fact that the media and Vegas is back on the Bills band wagon when they’re in 11 place in the conference and are not currently in the playoffs is the hypocrisy that Nick is tired of.
I think Nick’s points about Allen not being this generation’s Favre would land better if he didn’t constantly call the Prince Manning 2.0 and Williams Mahomes 2.0. What Brou is saying isn’t really much different
Josh Allen has no comparison. He is different. Just to put into context he will own the Bills all time passing records, should be top 5 five in rushing yards and also own the franchise record for rushing TD's by the time he retires if he continues to stay healthy.
Calling someone Brett Favre should not be a compliment. Favre is the most overrated historically "elite" QB ever. Turnover machine, 1 championship in his whole career with good to great rosters throughout.
The idea that Dak and Purdy are not running away with the conversation is based purely on the fact that their play styles are not flashy is ridiculous. They are both on pace to have better numbers than other recent MVPs When did this turn into a dunk contest?
@@lordbudlett6520Also, the niners are currently on track to have 3 1,000 yard receiver this year. That has only happened 5 times in the history of the NFL, with the last one being by Kurt Warner in 2008. Funny enough, Brock’s story so far hasn’t been so different from Kurt’s. For context, the niners haven’t even had 2 1,000 yard receivers since Rice and Terrell Owens in 1998, so getting 3 in one season would be pretty historic. It certainly would be pretty solid evidence that Purdy has elevated this team to something they clearly weren’t before he arrived.
Nick is quite literally dead wrong about Josh Allen being responsible for the Broncos loss. He put them in the lead at the of the game and the special teams blew the field goal. The Bills defense has also given up multiple leads in the last 2 minutes of the 4th quarter this season after Josh led a potential game winning drive. If the Chiefs and Mahomes were having this exact season Nick would be putting all of the blame on the coach and defense
The funny thing is, the chiefs ARE having this same season lol. And he is blaming the refs and his recievers non stop even tho mahomes defense is 10x better than the bills rn
The media creates its own hate for Allen. Idk why its tough for them to say he's incredible but with faults. Any team but a few would give anything for him. They just constantly try to bury him.
Who else misses the days when Favre wasn't a punchline and embarrassment? Allen has Favresque gunslingery in Cam's body, but he can't catch Purdy and Dak for MVP.
Brain dead take. Josh is the reason his team wins. Dak and Purdy have elite defenses and unbelievable talent on offense. Some people should get their opinion privilege revoked 🤣
Allen's rushing stats are insane and what make him special. Any "analyst" caught on camera not including his rushing stats should have an asterisk on their resume for any job they apply to.
The fact that the MVP can only go to a QB is a problem for the league. MVP isn't a competition between 1700 players at a myriad positions, it's a competition between ~ 10 players (the only 15+ game QB starters in the league). The award should matter FAR less than the media gives credit for.
The name of the reward stacks it in a QB's favor, as @michaelharrington75 noted, the QB is the single most valuable position in Football. So it's an uphill struggle for any non-QB to win it.
@@michaelharrington75 I'd contest it is all but impossible for a non QB to win it. I don't think T Hill could win it this year if he'd totalled 2500 receiving yards.
The Favre comparison is literally perfect but Nick just wants to complain because he hates everything about the Bills. Its just getting weird at this point.
Nick Wright: "You can't call Josh Allen this generation's Brett Favre, he doesn't have the accomplishments yet." Also Nick Wright: "TREVOR LAWRENCE IS THIS GENERATION'S PEYTON MANNING!" "CALEB WILLIAMS IS THE NEXT PATRICK MAHOMES!"
Nick Wright: "Josh Allen threw 3 INTs against the Jets in week 1! Told you he's a turnover machine!" Also Nick Wright: "Yeah Trevor Lawrence threw 3 INTs last week, but no big deal!" Also also Nick Wright: "So what if Mahomes threw 3 INTs vs that same Jets team, the refs called one back on a bogus penalty!" Trevor Lawrence - 21 TDs / 10 INT's = AMAZING! Josh Allen - 35 TDs / 14 INT's = OVERRATED! Just hope Nick remembers the Bills made it to the AFCCG in Allen's 3rd year. If Trevor is so much better, surely he'll accomplish even more right?
Brett Favre’s early career is very similar to what Mahomes is doing right now. Already multiple MVPs, already multiple SB appearances (though Mahomes has 2 wins Favre only had 1), already a HOF just 6 years in. Their styles are different but their early careers are very similar
@@calebemerson9317part of the reason Favre’s came to a halt was because of how many turnovers he had. Mahomes, at his worst, is light years ahead of Favre in that category
@@kleatise52 Can't compare numbers straight across like that though. Herbert's numbers put Joe Montana's to shame, and no one is claiming that he's better.
Nick says Caleb Williams reminds him of Mahomes. He says that because they STYLISTICALLY play alike. He's not saying that because Caleb has a Super Bowl and league MVP (granted he does have a Heisman). Nick we get it, you don't like Josh and the Bills(I think a little fear is in there) BUT come on… don't be dumb you know what McCarthy is saying. And if anyone can say it, 🗣ITS MCCARTHY
Josh Allen, currently #1 in total yards and #1 in total TDs. He's been #2 in those categories the last couple years. Allen is typically 2rd or 3rd in Total QBR, which is the most comprehensive measure of a QB. Nick loves to cherry pick data, and leaves out important stats in order to make Allen look mediocre. That's why Nick doesn't mention rushing or total stats or QBR for Josh Allen. That Nick, is why we say you hate Josh Allen.
The pats loss wasn’t Allen’s fault. Threw one pic in the first quarter. He didn’t play great but he didn’t cause his team to lose. Only one turnover. Defense gave up a game winning TD to Mac Jones with less than a minute left.
Not an allen or bills fan the favre comparison should be mainly in style right now however allen does lead the league in total tds and percentage of a teams offense for the last 6 years
As much as I disagree with Nick I have to agree with him on this one. It seems like it takes one or 2 good games for Allen to get back the hype even though he has had multiple terrible games this season. It seems like players like Lamar and Hurts have to play 6-7 straight great games for them to get props while Allen always is like 2 games away from being back to MVP convo.
What are you talking about? Josh Allen is the most overhated and unfairly rated player in the leauge. “9 games straight with INTs” Half of them aren’t his fault and yet he still has the second best TD-INT ratio in the leauge
I think the reason why people think this is because he does everything for the bills. They have no run game, one great receiver a couple of mediocre ones and really no offensive system. They just send their guys on routes and either Josh makes a play or is running the ball. So the bills basically go as he goes. Which is sad to see because if the bills even had a somewhat creative running scheme they could be a truly dominant team
If I were a betting man (and I’m not), this is what Allen would say if you had a couple beers with him on the back porch with you and you asked him, “Hey man, do you want to be the MVP of the league?” Allen would say, “You know, that would be pretty cool, but really, I just wanna win some Super Bowls.” Allen’s already getting paid. He’s already a superstar. He sees the 🏆 as the ultimate triumph at this point. Stars win awards. TEAMS WIN CHAMPIONSHIPS. Go Bills!
Include week one, who cares? Allen has 12 more TDs than Mahomes, even with 3 more INTs. Every single coach in the league would take that tradeoff without hesitation.
Josh Allen is held to a different standard because the eye test tells you he's special. He's as special as Mahomes but he doesn't have an Andy Reid to help him. So he's wildly inconsistent. His lows are bad but his highs are as great as anyone's, including Mahomes's.
"I don't want every MVP discussion diluted by our disagreements on Brock Purdy." Nick, you're the only one that has an issue with Brock. Its not a Brou and Wildes thing. Its a you're so salty over the Trey Lance debacle (as a 9ers fan, it was a debacle and we got bailed out by Purdy being a hidden gem), Purdy's draft position, and love for Dak (who Purdy beat H2H with much better stats). Come on dude.
He's still listed as +1800 odds... not good odds at all. Nick made up this whole segment as just a giant strawman to tear down Allen yet again. Nobody was seriously talking about Allen leapfrogging everyone to become MVP. Dak, Purdy & even Tyreek are waaaaay ahead of him. But Nick's still salty about Buffalo beating KC in Arrowhead for the 3rd straight season, so he had to come up with yet another fake argument to act exhasperated over & easily tear down. Just look at his QB tiers this week if you don't believe me. Mahomes played worse than Allen, loses head to head, then stays #2 in the tiers under just Dak. Allen plays better (and while on the road), actually wins head to head, and Nick drops him a tier down to the group with Baker Mayfield & Jordan Love 😑 Now you know why this segment exists.
why do people get so mad when people say Allen COULD win mvp even though everyone agrees it would take A TON for it to happen? Unbelievable play and others in the league falling apart. I dont think he will but its just weird how mad Nick and people get about it. Allen is a great QB that just hasnt won anything yet, most TDs in the league since 2019 and 5 more this year he will be the first player ever with over 40 total TDs in 4 straight years. Its ok to say hes great without freaking out about it. I do think the note of only 1 or 2 seeds winning it over the last 10 years is very interesting I didnt know that.
Not only has he single handledly lost his team games this season, they aren't even in the playoffs. Him being in the MVP race is asinine. So it only takes 1 game for him to be all of a sudden 3rd place right now? How do you go from not being in the race to 2nd or 3rd?
@@Hairbuddy I agree 2nd or 3rd best odds is a little weird. But what I said in my original comment was it would take a ton for it to happen over the rest of the season. And it would take everyone else imploding.
Toucan has literally made his entire career off the back of Josh Allen 😂. His fervent jealousy and hate for the Bills and Allen is truly pathetic and what put him on the map for the last 4 years.
Am I missing something? The worst thing that can happen with 1 INT is the opponent scores a TD off your turnover, right? So if a QB then adds 3 more TDs to the board, why is the more important talking point the 1 INT? Use Mahomes as an example. He has 3 less INT's than Josh, but Josh has *12 MORE* TDs than Mahomes. *TWELVE.* Are you trying to tell me that there's a single coach in the league that would say "I'd rather have 3 less INTs than 12 more TDs on the board?" No. So why is the INT story the bigger issue than already approaching 40 TDs on the year? I get when Jameis Winston had 30 INTs in a 16 game season, but Josh has 14. Nick *LOVES* "The Prince," but are you telling me you'd rather have 21 TDs & 10 INT's versus 35 TDs & 14 INT's? "Josh leads the league in turnovers the last 6 years!" - But how many of those years has he ACTUALLY lead the league? Once. He has more turnovers TOTAL in 6 years, because he's actually started all those games, has been around longer, and is still here. Players like Big Ben & Brady have retired in that span. Others like Flacco have lost their spot & been journeymen. Burrow, "The Prince," Herbert, Hurts, Tua... they have only been here 3-4 years. Lamar, Kyler, Stafford - constant injury problems. You know what he's also done? Not just had the most TDs in the last 6 years, but set the record for most TDs *EVER* in the first 6 years to start a career. He also has the 2nd best TD to turnover ratio. But nah, yall just talk about the turnovers because the dude accounts for 85% of his team's points (no other QB this year has broke 80%).
If Josh went no turnovers with 15 touchdowns and like 1600 yards the rest of the season, theres a case. But obviously Josh isnt going to do that, so its a fairytale im basically discussing.
One of Vince's nicknames was Air Canada, literally because of how similar and much he was compared to Jordan, such a weird combination to use as a counter to the Allen talk.
I like how Nick Wright is trying to make a point that literally the head coach who coached Brett Favre is wrong for saying Josh Allen is similar to Brett Favre. Like what in the actual heck?
As a Life long Dallas fan ...regardless of what happens ...this seqson has been awesome! Seeing Dak ranked #1 and be the leading MVP candidate thos late in the season...has just been a blessing 🙌 🙏 👏 AMEN TY LORD
Nick saying Tua has better numbers than josh and is a better case for MVP is insane when Tua has far less total touchdowns and only 2 less total turnovers on the year than Allen 😭
I guess when comparing stats between Geoff and allen we're supposed to forget there's no rushing yards and rushing touchdowns lol. Like i know he's a dual threat qb and that makes him special but let's only talk about some of his stats so he looks like he's equal to a lesser qb
Is he forgetting Favre played in the 90s? Where throwing for 30 tds led the league by a mile? Allen has thrown for 35 tds in 3 straight seasons and in today’s game it’s just good numbers where back then it’s an MVP year
Allen has 3 straight seasons of 40+ total TDs... and set the record for most TDs in history by any player in their first 6 seasons. That's not typical, no matter how you look at it. Also, 35 TD passes is not "just good numbers" today. With only 4 games left in the season, ZERO QBs have even hit 30 TD passes this year. Here are the QBs that have thrown for 35+ TDs the last few years: 2022: Mahomes (41), Allen (35), Burrow (35) 2021: Brady (43), Stafford (41), Herbert (38), Rodgers/Dak/Mahomes (37), Allen (36) 2020: Rodgers (48), Brady (40), Wilson (40), Mahomes (38), Allen (37), Cousins (35) So between 3 and 7 QBs have hit 35 TD passes each of the last 3 years, and only Allen & Mahomes did it every one of those years. And that's just passing TDs...
Allen has the gunslinger mentality and the "wow" throws like Favre. But Favre played smart football for long periods of time. When Holmgren tamed Favre, he had 3 MVP seasons in a row. When Daboll got Allen to reduce the turnovers, his peak was the divisional round exit against KC.
Bro , nobody can say anything good about Allen . I’ll never forget nicks reaction after 13 seconds and how he promised to never bash Allen again . What a tool .
It sucks Dallas and Buffalo play each other this weekend because I have 0 faith in either of these teams but the winner will be unfairly propped up to a new level that they do not belong on
It is not a "Who has the #1 seed award", it is the MVP award. If the Bills go on a tear and if that is overwhelmingly because of Josh(i.e. he was extremely valuable), then he should be considered. This is not likely to happen of course, but if it does, that would be the fair way to judge it.
Interestingly Nick doesn't put up the Stats of Josh vs. Favre of their careers to that point. He argues with half truths and half info so you don't see the truth. If you see the actual numbers you see the truth. Just like if you see Josh's numbers compared to all the top QB's, and you have to include the rushing stats because they tell the whole story.
Just so we are clear, Allen has been 3rd, 2nd, 6th and 3rd in the league in qbr the last 4 years which is a much more accurate qb stat than passer rating. Goff has never been that kind of qb, only mahomes has been top 6 every year the last 4 years. But guess who leads the league in qbr this year? Yep, thats brock purdy. Nick hates facts.
12 men on the field list Allen brought the team back even after 4 turnovers Nick is sick to his stomach thinking about Allen gonna pull the playoffs off
Allen is comparable to Favre. The difference is that Favre was doing these things in a different league. Football was just different back then. Defenses play different against gunslinging, physical style QBs today.
Believe it or not, but Kirk Cousins might be leading this race had he not gotten injured. He was having a career year and it took some QBs weeks to catch up to the numbers he posted before tearing his Achilles. If Dak can be in this race so could have Kirk.
This is absurd! Now we're speculating if Allen can win MVP?! I wish the NFL would just change the name of the Trophy to the best QB award, b/c that's what it is. In a year where there's been nothing but mediocre QB play all around, they're still going to find a way to force it to a QB. Tyreek or CMC should be the clear front runners rn.
Brou is merciless with the cooking 🤣😂😂 Brock Purdy has all these weapons but you're easily listing 5 WRs better than his number 1 receiver. That says it all really
Allen has 17 more total touchdowns then interceptions this season he is on pace to be the 1 at QB EVER to have 4 straight seasons with 40+ touchdowns and he is either 2nd to Mahomes or leads all in almost ever QB stat that matters over the past few seasons it is absurd to have any QB ranked ahead of him other then Mahomes and Burrow
Tbh, even Burrow is silly. So far in his 4 year career: - he’s had 2 season ending injuries showing he might be injury prone - played mediocre in the postseason and can’t seem to score in the 4th quarter - has generally struggled to put up points consistently in both halves of a regular season football game - but he’s drippy and has a similar play style to Brady (so that must mean he’s the GOAT) Allen in his 6 year career has: - placed top 3 in MVP voting two of the last 3 years - had statistically the greatest postseason quarterback performance in NFL history in the 2021 season - literally holds the NFL record for career postseason yards per game - has the most touchdowns in the NFL over the last 4 seasons - has always finished the regular season with more yards than Burrow - but he’s a choker because most times when he steps off the field after giving his team the lead with under two minutes to go, he still loses the game (what a chump amirite?) The only knock against Allen would be the couple more turnovers every year but he’s not throwing to 3 pro bowl caliber receivers to help with that. Plus, Burrow has a higher turnover rate in the postseason anyway. Also Mahomes is showing he’s quite human when throwing to mostly bums which is what Allen has been doing forever until this season.
@@sprawlz6466 yeah I agree I would have Allen over Burrow I just know some ppl don’t like to take situations into consideration bc they argue that’s it’s just a what if then but I do believe in contexts like yes Burrow has made it further in the playoffs and has beaten Josh head to head but it is also true that Josh is an objectively better playoff performer given statistics and the fact when u take into contexts he doesn’t have nearly as good of an Wr core or RB as Burrow does and I’d argue the bengals DC clears the Bills coaching staff but I will say your last section abt Mahomes is BS the dude won the Superbowl last year with bums for weapons except Kelce that’s what Josh has had for a while now Diggs and a bunch of bums and I believe with how the AFC is this year none of the teams seem very legit Mahomes will likely make it back to the superbowl again and any stat Allen leads Mahomes in in the playoffs is just due to him playing not nearly as many games as Mahomes
If Josh Allen manages to lead the Bills to win out, win the division, and plays great, I don’t see how you can’t say he’s not the most “valuable” player. The Heisman is the best player. The MVP is the most valuable player. If Josh Allen wasn’t on the field, the Bills wouldn’t be in this position. In my eyes, a player who can lead a struggling team to success is just as valuable as a player who can take a great situation and ride it to the playoffs. The most valuable player in the league should be the guy who is the most important for their team’s success. CMC is the clear MVP of the 49ers, so having Purdy in the MVP race doesn’t make any sense, considering he’s not even the most valuable player on his own team.
We’re seriously still saying Dorsey wasn’t the issue? we have a 3 week sample size now. People just can’t admit they were wrong about Allen being the problem.

@@tigerscott5929he acts like Allen hasn’t consistently won and ignored them being a 13 win team 2 straight years and focuses on the playoffs. For Dallas, he focuses on the regular season and ignores the playoffs.
Ok, so talk about those rushing numbers and still explain how a QB who leads the league in turnovers, is 7-6 for the 11th seed, is actually the MVP?
This isn't even comical.
Nick is the expert on holding players to different standards, so he would know. His Mahomes, Lawrence, and Purdy takes could hardly be more biased.
What's weird is how he doesn't totally cuck for Lamar.
Go back to his 2020 takes of Allen, then see how he was wrong each & every week... only to continue that in 2021, 2022 and now 2023. Purdy is his new whipping boy, but Allen's his old school one.
Have a cry
Convenient for Nick not to show his rushing numbers. Big part of his game.
The game that has them at the 11th seed
A stats professor could teach a whole semester on Nick Wright's misleading cherry-picking
Cuz a QB running the ball don’t make you a great QB.
People like Josh Allen because he's fun to watch it's not that complicated.
I started selling Allen short at the end of 2020, but Nick still sucks.
@@larry2281 and you hate the one who leads all important stats and the most efficient among all them QBs. FOH
@larry2281 I just can't see this what has he done literally
I think Nick’s points about Allen not being this generation’s Favre would land better if he didn’t constantly call the Prince Manning 2.0 and Williams Mahomes 2.0. What Brou is saying isn’t really much different
Good point
Trevor plays nothing like Manning lol. Trevor feels more like a Chad Pennington type player with a live arm
Josh Allen has no comparison. He is different. Just to put into context he will own the Bills all time passing records, should be top 5 five in rushing yards and also own the franchise record for rushing TD's by the time he retires if he continues to stay healthy.
Idk every time I look up his stats are either the same or better than Mahome’s?? Where’s the Mahome’s hate then right?
Calling someone Brett Favre should not be a compliment. Favre is the most overrated historically "elite" QB ever.
Turnover machine, 1 championship in his whole career with good to great rosters throughout.
Don't forget to count Josh's running in there. Nick always leaves that out. Plus josh didn't loose denver and philly game.
All Nick's arguments are trash if Caleb is on the mountain.😂
If Nick is bashing another qb then he sees them as a threat to his beloved Mahomes.
The idea that Dak and Purdy are not running away with the conversation is based purely on the fact that their play styles are not flashy is ridiculous. They are both on pace to have better numbers than other recent MVPs When did this turn into a dunk contest?
well, they kinda are based on the odds.

For context, the niners haven’t even had 2 1,000 yard receivers since Rice and Terrell Owens in 1998, so getting 3 in one season would be pretty historic. It certainly would be pretty solid evidence that Purdy has elevated this team to something they clearly weren’t before he arrived.
The thing i love the most about watching Josh is his falling out of bounds and making a unreal throw

Nicks passion when he is arguing against josh Allen🤣it’s personal!

What do u mean😂 the bad game is exactly the reason😂
Nick is quite literally dead wrong about Josh Allen being responsible for the Broncos loss. He put them in the lead at the of the game and the special teams blew the field goal. The Bills defense has also given up multiple leads in the last 2 minutes of the 4th quarter this season after Josh led a potential game winning drive. If the Chiefs and Mahomes were having this exact season Nick would be putting all of the blame on the coach and defense
Best Comment Here
Spot on
The funny thing is, the chiefs ARE having this same season lol. And he is blaming the refs and his recievers non stop even tho mahomes defense is 10x better than the bills rn
The media creates its own hate for Allen. Idk why its tough for them to say he's incredible but with faults. Any team but a few would give anything for him. They just constantly try to bury him.
I love that Nick is so stressed by Josh Allen he created this whole segment. So salty
Thought the same thing…why didn’t he make a segment saying Mahomes has no chance at mvp.
Who else misses the days when Favre wasn't a punchline and embarrassment? Allen has Favresque gunslingery in Cam's body, but he can't catch Purdy and Dak for MVP.
I was shocked anywhere 20-30th in Interceptions is impressive for MVP especially amount of throws
He’s a joke now but he used to be looked at like the ultimate football player, the backyard king basically.
No one
favre would have to throw a lot more tuddies to catch dak this year
Brain dead take.
Well, the QB is the most valuable position in football. The Mvp is more than likely going to be one of the top QBs.
The name of the reward stacks it in a QB's favor, as @michaelharrington75 noted, the QB is the single most valuable position in Football. So it's an uphill struggle for any non-QB to win it.
V stands for Valuable, not "Best"

Nick Wright: "You can't call Josh Allen this generation's Brett Favre, he doesn't have the accomplishments yet."
Also Nick Wright: "TREVOR LAWRENCE IS THIS GENERATION'S PEYTON MANNING!" "CALEB WILLIAMS IS THE NEXT PATRICK MAHOMES!"
Thank you
Nick Wright: "Josh Allen threw 3 INTs against the Jets in week 1! Told you he's a turnover machine!"
Also Nick Wright: "Yeah Trevor Lawrence threw 3 INTs last week, but no big deal!"
Also also Nick Wright: "So what if Mahomes threw 3 INTs vs that same Jets team, the refs called one back on a bogus penalty!"
Trevor Lawrence - 21 TDs / 10 INT's = AMAZING!
Josh Allen - 35 TDs / 14 INT's = OVERRATED!
Just hope Nick remembers the Bills made it to the AFCCG in Allen's 3rd year. If Trevor is so much better, surely he'll accomplish even more right?
He is an idiot troll that's all 😂
Nick always finds a way to skew comparisons. Compare the first 6 years and Allen has more total TD’s and less INT’s lmao
That was a great catch by Brou. Nick has repeatedly said Purdy has top five talent at every key position on offense. 😏
Seriously, the passion in Nick’s hate for Allen has to be deeply seeded. Allen had to hurt Nick badly some time ago. Very sad story 😢
The thing about Josh Allen is that he is the quarter back that he is ON TOP of the fact that he runs the ball like a bad mf
Dudes got more rushing touch downs than most teams #1 running backs
Brett Favre’s early career is very similar to what Mahomes is doing right now. Already multiple MVPs, already multiple SB appearances (though Mahomes has 2 wins Favre only had 1), already a HOF just 6 years in. Their styles are different but their early careers are very similar
Mahomes blows his numbers and playoff numbers out the water and is more clutch and won more and has the best 2 seasons between them but yeah
@@kleatise52True but it’s a good reality check that the SuperBowl appearances and MVPs can come to a halt and quickly too.

As much as I disagree with Nick I have to agree with him on this one. It seems like it takes one or 2 good games for Allen to get back the hype even though he has had multiple terrible games this season. It seems like players like Lamar and Hurts have to play 6-7 straight great games for them to get props while Allen always is like 2 games away from being back to MVP convo.
well said, and for MVP Almost aint good enough, has to be cut and dry as they say

He’s leaving out the rushing stats as always lmao
Josh Allen is held to a different standard because the eye test tells you he's special. He's as special as Mahomes but he doesn't have an Andy Reid to help him. So he's wildly inconsistent. His lows are bad but his highs are as great as anyone's, including Mahomes's.
Aaron Rodgers being tied for the 40th least turnovers is CRAZY!!!
Nick always finds a way to pick and choose numbers and stats
Last time nick was saying Deebo is better than lamb but now lamb is better. What happened to mr consistency? 😂
Come on dude.
bills being the 11th seed and having josh allen higher odds than cmc is CRAZY 🤣
CMC is not even in the discussion they should just change the award to MVQ
it may not be fair but MVP has turned into a QB only trophy, so that would explain why CMC is so low.
Makes sense because McCafrey isn’t even the betting favorite on his own team. I don’t agree with it but that’s how the odds are going.
Why would cmc be in the conversation? 😂
Allen plays better (and while on the road), actually wins head to head, and Nick drops him a tier down to the group with Baker Mayfield & Jordan Love 😑
Now you know why this segment exists.
I take a drink every time someone says "quarterback wins guy" and I am completely smashed after this show every day.
why do people get so mad when people say Allen COULD win mvp even though everyone agrees it would take A TON for it to happen?

Toucan has literally made his entire career off the back of Josh Allen 😂. His fervent jealousy and hate for the Bills and Allen is truly pathetic and what put him on the map for the last 4 years.
Favre once threw 29 interceptions in a season. Also multiple seasons with 20+, Josh has never came close to those int numbers.
*TWELVE.*
Are you trying to tell me that there's a single coach in the league that would say "I'd rather have 3 less INTs than 12 more TDs on the board?" No.
Keep that Purdy pressure on him Bru!!!
Brought made a good point. If Deebo isn’t a top 5 WR, then he can’t keep that Mountain graphic of Deebo pulling Purdy up. Brou’s got receipts.
If Josh went no turnovers with 15 touchdowns and like 1600 yards the rest of the season, theres a case. But obviously Josh isnt going to do that, so its a fairytale im basically discussing.
So Basically he needs to have 5700 total yards and 50 TDs, 14 INTs to even have a case. Ok, got it... casual. SMH
One of Vince's nicknames was Air Canada, literally because of how similar and much he was compared to Jordan, such a weird combination to use as a counter to the Allen talk.

Nick saying Tua has better numbers than josh and is a better case for MVP is insane when Tua has far less total touchdowns and only 2 less total turnovers on the year than Allen 😭
Brou! Great point about Nick using numbers but discounting Purdy's numbers.
Every time Nick bringing up quarterback wins but having to say "im not a quarterback wins guy" is funny af.
Here are the QBs that have thrown for 35+ TDs the last few years:
2022: Mahomes (41), Allen (35), Burrow (35)
2021: Brady (43), Stafford (41), Herbert (38), Rodgers/Dak/Mahomes (37), Allen (36)
2020: Rodgers (48), Brady (40), Wilson (40), Mahomes (38), Allen (37), Cousins (35)
So between 3 and 7 QBs have hit 35 TD passes each of the last 3 years, and only Allen & Mahomes did it every one of those years.
People talk about allen as MVP cuz without him the bills wouldnt be close to what they have been the last few years

Love a good Nick vs bills rant
It sucks Dallas and Buffalo play each other this weekend because I have 0 faith in either of these teams but the winner will be unfairly propped up to a new level that they do not belong on
Can we appreciate that the Bills are 11th? Why is this even a topic?
Josh should listen to Nick every Sunday morning
I thought the Farve comp was always Stafford, especially after joining the Rams.
The Dak hype is unreal. The Cowboys are going to choke like they always do.
It is not a "Who has the #1 seed award", it is the MVP award. If the Bills go on a tear and if that is overwhelmingly because of Josh(i.e. he was extremely valuable), then he should be considered. This is not likely to happen of course, but if it does, that would be the fair way to judge it.
@user-tn8uu2cu8g Has this ever worked?
Chris was right about MVP being in written rules and why I don't really even care about it anymore it's too subjective without a criteria for winning.
12 men on the field list Allen brought the team back even after 4 turnovers Nick is sick to his stomach thinking about Allen gonna pull the playoffs off
Nick praising Goff makes my day
Allen is comparable to Favre. The difference is that Favre was doing these things in a different league. Football was just different back then. Defenses play different against gunslinging, physical style QBs today.
Comparison that ignores Allen as a runner. Nick Wright is the funniest man in the nfl.
I can't believe anyone subjects themselves to this show every day.
"Not even leading in passing tds ...hes second " lmao
Believe it or not, but Kirk Cousins might be leading this race had he not gotten injured. He was having a career year and it took some QBs weeks to catch up to the numbers he posted before tearing his Achilles. If Dak can be in this race so could have Kirk.
Josh Allen will ALWAYS remind me more of Big Ben than Favre.
True. Although Ben always reminded me of Favre. Both are durable.
Great show.
Yep. Watch Bills barely make the playoffs as a 7th seed with help to get in - EHRMYGERD JOSH ALLEN IS THE REAL MVP!!!! 🤩🤩😍😍
Here we goooo!
Brou is merciless with the cooking 🤣😂😂
Brock Purdy has all these weapons but you're easily listing 5 WRs better than his number 1 receiver.
So far in his 4 year career:
- he’s had 2 season ending injuries showing he might be injury prone
- played mediocre in the postseason and can’t seem to score in the 4th quarter
- has generally struggled to put up points consistently in both halves of a regular season football game
- but he’s drippy and has a similar play style to Brady (so that must mean he’s the GOAT)
Allen in his 6 year career has:
- placed top 3 in MVP voting two of the last 3 years
- had statistically the greatest postseason quarterback performance in NFL history in the 2021 season
- literally holds the NFL record for career postseason yards per game
- has the most touchdowns in the NFL over the last 4 seasons
- has always finished the regular season with more yards than Burrow
- but he’s a choker because most times when he steps off the field after giving his team the lead with under two minutes to go, he still loses the game (what a chump amirite?)
The only knock against Allen would be the couple more turnovers every year but he’s not throwing to 3 pro bowl caliber receivers to help with that.
How can you compare Goff to Allen and not talk about rushing yards and rushing TD's by Josh.
We’re seriously still saying Dorsey wasn’t the issue? we have a 3 week sample size now. People just can’t admit they were wrong about Allen being the problem.
