Vin I have a question for you, I'm from Egypt (a big fan of your show by the way) and I wanna know what is the story of the Arabic words you speak here in there on the show? Do you speak Arabic? Eager to hear back from you :) A shoutout to Sori as well. You both rock \m/

Awesome! Met Cradle of Filth over 5 times. Lindsey is the sweetest ever. You guys still haven’t done any song from this current lineup. They have released two albums since 2014. Some song recommendations from this lineup: - Heartbreak and Seance - Blackest Magick in Practice - The Seductiveness of Decay - Vengeful Spirit - Right Wing of The Garden Triptych
I'm sure you will meet Dani at some point. I feel like him and Vin can have some interesting conversations lol Also, I would have LOVED to see either of you wearing that shirt!
Glad you had a great time, sorviniteseanmates. Lindsay is a gem, no doubts about it. And this band and you, seeing them live was a longtime overdue. I'm far from their fan, but yeah, they are all good people.
I took my 14 year old son to see them 2 years ago. They were amazing. Dani came down off stage at the end and pushed the crowd away and handed my son the set list. Not only are they awesome as a band musically, they, and especially Dani is eternally golden. He impressed me as a music lover, and as a dad. Amazing.
Seen Cradle 3 times and they didn't disappoint every time, they are absolutely brilliant live, never got a chance to meet dani though, met the old members (paul allender, sarah jezebel deva and Dave pybus, they were really sound people to speak and hang out with :)
Met raven black in Cleveland Ohio after the show on the same tour you saw them. Never heard of them before the show, left with a new favorite band. They are awesome people, real down to earth and they make a point to meet their fans. Hope they make it big, they deserve it. Cradle killed it at the show as usual
Been listening to Cradle of Filth for over 30 years and finally going to see them for the first time in September. Even got VIP to meet and greet as well.
Jon Kennedy the vocalist on Hecate Enthroned's first 2 full lengths and ep was bassist in Cradle of Filth for a very short time. Before that he was in Daemonium which is basically Hecate Enthroned. Hecate Enthroned - The Slaughter of Innocence... Is my favorite black metal album ever. It was the 1 that got me into the genre.
Cradle are playing my home town this weekend in Brisbane, Australia. But I can't go because I tore my ACL ligament and I'm waiting for surgery 😭 So glad you guys enjoyed yourself, you are soo cool 😎

I think it's really bad the way Dani did not meet you guys, i was lucky enough to meet him where i live, but that was only because of the venue, there is only one way in and out so he pretty much had no choice haha. He gave me pizza and actually made an effort to speak to us.
It would be funny if Vin got on stage while they’re performing and just grabs the microphone and begins asking real world philosophical questions to the band.

Met Lindsay 8th Sept 19 also rest of band in Sydney Australia. Ashok had organised for us to get in and meet up early but still had to buy tickets. Laminated passes though on a neckband so kept those! Yes Lyndsey is short LOL Small class C venues or large open air venues Cradle give it all. 2013 gig out back of HiFi club venue Sydney, Dani and Paul Allender, an original member who left band shortly after that world tour who had arranged to meet up after the gig. When they came out the back exit after gig there were about 40 fans wanting pics, some with stuff to sign. and they took the time for each and every one of them. Thing is they didn't get to leave venue until after 2 am, (Lindsay was sound asleep in Hotel shuttle) but they had to get back to Hotel then get up, dressed and ready for a 6 am lobby call for airport then fly to Perth (5hr flight) to play that night, then back to London after that. What other band does that? 🤔👍🇭🇲
Saw them live last year, for the first time, 20 years after becoming a fan. I was a little worried that maybe i would be disappointed, especially with Dani´s voice, after all he´s been doing extremally difficult vocals for more than 25 years. But he absolutelly killed it. Amazing performance from him and all the band. Just to give you an idea of the type of person that is Dani. During the show of one of the bands that played before them, there was a PA power out, they were not pleased (understandably), and did not hide that when they spoke about it. Later, in Cradle show, the same thing happened. Power went out during "Beneath the Howling Stars", one of their best songs. Wanna know what Dani said afterwards? He said "don´t blame the staff of the festival, it was us that did not wanted to end the song, because we do not like it; whenever we don´t like a song, we do not play it to the end". Basically, he joked about it and moved on with the show. A trademark of a truly humble and down-to-earth person.
I actually think the best melodic figure that Dani ever wrote and maybe even the best in metal history is the melodic figure in The Death of Love. The only problem with that song is that that figure is all that the song is. It is as if Dani was even more mesmerized with it than I was so he just repeated it over and over for 10 minutes.
So my boyfriend and I want to meet dani on there next tour. But you guys should also check out deathstars from Sweden, I went to see and meet them on there first us tour. They should be coming over here again next year.

Seen them not long ago at WGT in Leipzig. They put on a good show despite sound issues and it was a sauna in the venu. Dani had a meltdown chucked his mic across the stage and walked off. Though after he cooled down he came back and apologized and finished the set. It was hot and uncomfortable for everyone. My good friend and I were dripping sweat just standing there. Was supposed to meet Lindsay as well butit was too hot and we needed drinks but not overpriced venue beer. We seen Faketushka before CoF lol. Anyways I seen CoF several times and it was my best friend Asbaths first time. Hes a long time fan. I work with his band Darkestrah. Totally reccommend listening. They are shamanic pagan black metal originally from Krygyzstan but now based in Germany. Check out the albums Embrace of Memory, Turan, Manan, and the Great Silk Road. They mix shamanic folk and history and tuvan throat singing with black metal. Embrace of Memory is more traditional black metal but the other albums have the asian and folk sound mixed in. Would love to see you all maybe review something from them too! :D
