I just ordered one of these through blade hq. Super happy to hear there will be more sheath options. I’ve been doing bjj for a couple years now and this podcast helped with me choosing to pick one up. Thank you!
The best practice for deployment and building that muscle memory is to use it as an EDC. Sharpness is important of course but, I would suggest that the practice of using this knife everyday as an EDC, far out weighs the risk of having a dull knife. A dull knife in the hands of an experienced user is more effective then a sharp knife in an inexperienced user. Just my thoughts and no disrespect to Chas lol. I can honestly say that Chas from Fisher Blades has given me amazing service and I highly recommend Fisher Blades. Cheers, Great podcast!
Buck Knives must check a given percentage of their batches. Some Bucks are bad examples. One learns that from customer reviews. Some are bad. Most are super!

What more can be said? Another great interview, Bob, this is why I keep my eyes peeled for new episodes.
Like the fact he stated if used for EDC along with self defence, to make SURE to keep it sharp !
Three fingers made me laugh too
I’m looking forward to ordering the Beckwith Covert blade

Fisher borrowed Henry Firearms slogan. It’s a good one! “Made in America or not at all.”
Great interview Bob. These are the kinds of people, passion and product I love to support.
