Eric MORAND I enjoy almost all of Asia's music, while I don't entirely disagree with you I still definitely lean towards the original line up. Any album could be called their best in different respects I personally couldn't pick a favorite album but my more listened to albums are with the original line up.

Stop commenting if you´re too dumb to know ggod music and the only masterpieces from Asia were their first two albums, Asia and Alpha. By the time the third album came out the original Line-Up already went separate ways and were forced to work together and complete it.
Without any doubt - for me the best ASIA album EVER! Perfect choice of band members, awesome artwork, really cool lyrics, perfect songwriting and hell of recording skills and mixdown!
@@basquehound1999 Pitrelli continued his awesome play by joining Savatage and then Trans Siberian Orchestra where he still remains today! Another awesome band collective by the way!

Aaron Mendenhall yes it is Asia because the original members left. Downes wanted to take things in a new direction. When John Payne joined they didn’t even have a recording contract. They worked hard and were very adventurous.
John Payne has amazing pipes on this. Its a great album, as all the Payne Asia albums were. Unjustly sidelined with the reformation of the original four and a great pity these albums are out of print

Cedrick Newsom yeah but how many good ones with original line up? Just the first two! Anything post John Payne is terrible. And Astra is not good.

Downes was an idiot, to not do anything and everything to keep Al Pitrelli on guitar.
He really did that??? That was really stupid of him. The songs with Al Pitrelli were magical!
