Loved all this information and looking forward to the following videos. My mum has alzheimers now at 84....she had a hysterectomy at 43,overweight then, has had slight depression and didn't exercise. At 57 I am quite the opposite to my mum so far and will continue to do my best to keep myself as healthy as possible for my future well-being and to beat any burnt-out from taking care of my mum. What worries me are reading stats that say 40% of carers can come down with Alzheimers themselves. Is this really true?
It has to do with the fact that the statistical incidence of Alzheimer's is 1 in 6 people. And at every single age, at least twice as many women have it than men ... because we lose all our estrogen, whereas men do not lose all their testosterone.
Thank you so much! I am so glad I found this channel. Please, please, please can we have some more information related to early menopause? Which elements are necessary (apart from HRT) to have a quality life?
Ivana, In order to serve your needs adequately and give you the information you deserve, I need to tailor everything specifically to YOU. I cannot do that in a comment box or video. You should seriously consider scheduling a consultation with me at MenopauseTaylor.ME. That way, you'll get precisely what you need right away without having to wait for a video. I cover everything in units, and you will not get what you want until I work my way to it in the videos. But with a consultation, you get whatever you want right now.
Dr. Taylor, Thank you for your channel! I would like to order your book, but I get a warning that your website isn't secure. Please help! I would like the book to have as a reference tool.
Bonjour Dr Taylor, thank you for all the information. I am 54 and have been 18 days on ESTROGEL 17 B- estradiol hemihydrate 0.06 %, 2 pumps daily and PROMETRIUM progesterone 100 mg once daily. I have never had so much gas and diarrhea. Should i continue or stop treatment ? Thank you for your response.
Nathalie, This requires a consultation, which you can schedule at MenopauseTaylor.ME. That will enable me to tailor everything specifically to YOU which I cannot do in a comment box.
Thank you Dr Taylor for a quick response. Menopause Taylor ME. is not accessible or invalid if you prefer. It's ok, i will try to get the information elsewhere. Good day.
Most folks have plenty of glycogen that can be mobilized during a fast to feed the brain. Considering the obesity epidemic, skipping a few meals is probably not a bad idea for most first world people.
The goal of this education is to manage YOUR menopause YOUR way, so you needn't worry about anybody but yourself. You get to do whatever is best for YOU.
I provide my exercises in various videos sprinkled throughout this education, trying to attach various exercises to different aspects of menopause. I made most of it up myself due to the fact that I have severe arthritis. But I do not have any videos that give it all to you in one video.
Of course it's all of the above. The importance of these macro nutrients are also all of the above for the brain as well as the body. Eating them separately or together on spacifiic days at certain times each week works for me. We all know we need protein but we also need fat and carbs. I sometimes intentionally eat less food and it's fine but I don't go without therefore depleting or slowing down my system. I have learned so much about the female brain and body that I never knew before just within the last year and this education is making a really positive impact. Thank you.
Sorry. This is my video-shooting studio. It's all the space I have for it. I sure hope it doesn't create a barrier in getting the menopause education you deserve.
@@MenopauseTaylor Nothing can keep me from your excellent lectures. One day I will go back and watch from the beginning, but right now I’m binge watching all the ones on Alzheimer’s because my 88yr old mother-n-law may have early signs of dementia. Thank you for all your videos and for clearing up the misinformation out there. ❤️
@@capcats You are so very welcome, my dear. I love giving you the menopause education you deserve. And when you watch all my videos in order, you will have one "aha" moment after another, and be able to connect all the dots.

Hello from Phoenix! I wanted to do A follow up half hour with you, but I see on your site you can only do the hour one now?
Yes, I only do one-hour consultations now. The 30-minute consultations were never adequately used.
I just love this video! It is so informative!
I'm so glad this resonates with you. It will help you a lot.

Clean your plate - In Germany we have a saying to children: If you dont clean your plate, there will be bad weather tomorrow.
Yes, I know about that German saying.
