Cemetery at the airport (Sallisaw City Cemetery)

We stop beside the interstate at a cemetery located at the end of an airport runway.

I can't imagine why someone would place an airport across from a cemetery. Or a cemetery across from an airport. Someone wasn't thinking when they made this choice.
